Charm gathering

Featured Replies

I'm planning on pushing to 96 summon for a yak, and also getting 99 range while I'm at it.

Aside from waterfiends, which I'm doing for range now, are there any other, faster, momentumable ways to collect charms?

You can Chin Waterbirth Daggs (with a cannon) for ranged xp

Take the time to get a charming imp if you don't already have one.

Go ahead and have him eat the greens as well.

Armadyl Drops : 4 Hilts; 3 Chestplates; 2 Chainskirts; 1 Helmet; 1 Buckler; 2 Shard 1; 2 Shard 2; 1 Shard 3

Nex : 1 Zaryte Bow

Kalphite King : 1 Drygore Rapier ; 1 Drygore Longsword : 1 Drygore Offhand Rapier : 1 Drygore Offhand Longsword

The golds and greens from dags amount to a little under 20% of the summoning xp you get per hour from dags. Personally idk why people have the imp eat any charms. Even if you go the slow way and kyat them, golds are still 300k xp/hour on the low end. Taverly golds is 1.1-1.2m per hour, up to 1.3m if you are fast.

I am not a skiller, but i do some skills.

Here is my barraging setup for collecting crimsons;

Virtus Helm > Ganodermic Helm > Farseers Helmet

Saradomins Hiss > Fury > Glory > Magic Amulet

Virtus Wand > Ahrims Wand > Master Wand

Virtus Book > Ahrims Book > Grifolic Orb

(I would recommend using wand + orb combo as it makes barraging much faster)

Virtus Robe Top > Ganodermic Poncho

Virtus Robe Bottom > Ganodermic Legs

Fire Cape > Skill Cape > God Cape

Virtus Gloves > Ganodermic gloves

Virtus Boots > Ganodermic boots

Seers ring (i) > Seers ring

Using full ganodermics with master wand and grifolic orb is still a sufficient way to gather charms.

For more AFKable barraging, bring a charm imp, wear split dragontooth necklace or the better version of it and a bonecrusher.

If using Soulsplit + Anguish, the bones from the dagannoths will keep your prayer up and eliminate the use of food also :)

The aggro pattern of dagannoths has also changed, so bring a cannon to keep their aggro up, then all you have to do is reload it :)

For supreme AFK I would recommend getting a royal cannon from Artisans workshop, as it holds 90 cannonballs. :)

Hope this gave you another decent method for getting that yak! :)

I like to kill glacors while watching TV or something. An average trip lasts about an hour and I'll end up with 60-70 blue charms. (My Imp destroys all charms but blue)

Ah, right. Looks like I'll do a mix of glacors, fiends (until 99 range) and then barrages.

Thanks
