Duke Freedom did an edition for the Tip.it Times on this very article. I suggest you look it up.

Yes a very enjoyable read. Not entirely sure how accurate it is, but more accurate than any other attempts I have seen that's for sure.

EDIT: Here you go:

On pure guess I 'd say that there is about 20mil more gold every day.

PURE GUESS

Way more. Im guessing over 150m per day. Imagine all the alchers who spend all day alching. Say they have 1.5k yew longs to alch and there are 150 people having 1.5k yew longs to alch thats already 172.8M

If the maths is done correctly, using projection type figures from that artcile it would now be in excess of 1000bil

This takes into account influxes of new players, increases in rare values due to bans whihc all combine to greater quest and random event give outs and greater alching status

Plus alching has become more common about the time of tht article at world 71 fish guild there'd be somone alching bout 3/7 days. Now there is people alching there pretty muhc 7/7 days and quite often more than 1 at a time now

Anyway, the numbers there are a bit outdated by now, without doing calculations, I'm estimating it around ~750bil now.

We need more things such as the crystal Bow and Barrows Armour that cost money to be repaired. Such as massive ships where you can both lose money easily but gain more back (Look up Battle on the Open Seas in the Runescape Discussion and Suggestions Forum here) or even similar armours that need to be repaired.

Or perhaps they should just get rid og the high alchemy spell :P

That would make a nice disorder in the system :)
