Many players that didn't even know him now know who he is, and are mourning him. If one of us, normal players, would come to die, nobody in the community would know. People would think we quit, and how wrong they would be. 2480+ total

Wonder what happened for real? as far as I know, if an account is banned/deleted, the name remains unavailable for future use. So even if his stats are wiped, nobody can take his place. Of course, I have no idea if accounts are every fully deleted, and the stats are wiped, or if they just throw them all into bans. February 16, 200620 yr i never knew Shiva but i am sure that she had a great rs account.. Someone already posted that shiva was a guy... He was a great guy and loved by many here and on a few other communities... so just be carefull because your ignorance may offend some of the people who knew him well. OT: Who knows.. I doubt the account would have ever been used again anyway, but i agree it would be nice to be able to look him up and admire his stats/remember him.

As for the removal of his account, the credit card theory seems the most plausible to me. I doubt Jagex would personally delete accounts just because their owners died. Shiva was well known amongst us, but in the mass of like 5 million accounts i doubt Jagex knew him well enough to personally do that.

Im just curious how you found that out. I'm not doubting you, I'm just wondering. Jagex mods have forum accounts here, and they have been confirmed in game.
February 17, 200620 yr It is a shame that "Anarith" is gone. We'll miss him and his accoutn was somewhat of a tribute to his work. But still who's concerned with his accoutn dissappearing when he himself is gone. Try to stick with what really truely matters, we are missing a great person here not an account.

February 20, 200620 yr I belive with all the people asking for memorials jagex either deleted the account, or locked it maybe for someone else to have that account name, or locked it for sheer respect.

February 20, 200620 yr it wouldn't surprise me if they banned the account, as the owner obviously can't continue playing on it. Either that or deleted it (but I don't know if that would prevent future users from having that name or not). Also, after a while of inactivity, accounts go off the high scores, but I don't know how long that takes or if it's been that long since he quit. That must be a new feature. They used to leave u on hs for ever even if u were banned or quit for good. I tested this with tks and sure enough shes gone. :o
