Now im a member i looked on the tip.it bestiary and it says that moss giants drop the following - Drops: Gold: 2-700 100%: Big bones Weapon: Rune Javelin (5), Mithril sword, Mithril Spear, Steel Arrow (30), Addy dart(5p) Iron Arrow(15), Magic Staff, Rune Spear, Dragon Spear Armour: Black Sq Shield, Steel Med Helm, Brass Necklace, steel kite, Shield Left half. Runes: Air (18-28), Earth (27), Chaos (7), Nature (6), Law (3), Cosmic (3), Death (3), Blood (1). Misc: Steel bar, Herb, Wildblood seed (1), Strawberry seed (1), Jangerberry seed (1), Limpwurt seed (1), Whiteberry seed (1), Cactus seed (1), Watermelon seed (1,2), Belladonna seed (1), Poison Ivy seed (1), Mushroom Spore (1), Herb Seed (1), Coal, Uncut Gems, Half of a Key, Spinach Roll, Nature Talisman, Chaos Talisman OK, My question is, has anyone ever gotten a rune or dragon spear from these monstors?!?!? Bellatrix Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 The most valuble drops (that are not super-rare) from moss giants are seeds - herb seeds (including ranarr) and high allotment seeds. they also drop nice amount of arrows and runes. Once I killed lot of mossies for that, till I got higher levels in farming and slayer, so I moved to turoths for my herb seeds. Slayer: 85/85, Herblore: 82/82, Farming 81/82, def 99/99.new goals: full sardomain costum from t.trails (2/6), slayer 87/90, attack 98/99Dragon drops: 4 half shields, 2 dragon spears | whip drops: 5.barrow drops: Ahrim's hood Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just saw one when walking up to waterfall from Ardougne and killed one to find a dragon spear lying on the ground. :) 40,919th person to access Turmoil. 21,559th person to access Overloads. Ive been killingthe, for days and haven't goten either? You have got to be patenient I have been playing p2p for 6 months and am still awaiting my first dragon drop. bigsword33 Posted February 23, 2006 Share Posted February 23, 2006 well, on my first month on members i camped out on crandor and killed as many mossies and lessers as i could bare. banked in tzhaar's place. over the cource of 3 weeks i got the following: From mossies: over 500 seeds, 2 rune spears, about 50k gp, mith spear, maze, 2 strange boxes, nature tali, about 500 iron arows, and more things. from lessers: 1 dragon spear, 3 rune meds(i never get these it was my first time), 20 rune javs, lots of cash, 6k fires, about 40 steel items(enough!), and a messly 102 addy javs. i killed about 3 times more mossies, and never got a speer. on my first day killing lessers, i got my first dragon drop ever. you just got to keep with your luck and hope you get one.
