but i realy wonder why u used those pretty ugly squared dots to make brighter stars. I think they ruin the overall look a lot.

 

 

 

Other than that it's nice to see some homemade planets for once. It's a pretty long and boring work so u have all my congrats on those, even if the big one looks a bit plastic in his texturing...but now that i think about it maybe it's just a compression problem ? u got an higher quality one somewhere ? Cause it looks like some antialiasing is missing here and there.

 

 

 

Last hint is i'd use a better textured brush for the space dust. This one looks a bit 2 hard expecialy in the central zone.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Other than that it's another Nad's classic.

Thanks man. i don't think i used a square brush for them, they were part of the star field i made lol ( i did a * load of layer styles lol) I might be missing some AA'ing, not sure, but i'll check up on it later :P

Getting better now. Still not something that would stand out from the crowd or look somewhat special (not talking about Tip.it only). One way to achieve this is to make the picture look like not so obviously seen how it was made, if you get what I'm after.. :)

Very nice :). I don't know too much about space bg's but the text looks a bit wierd. I don't like how the The is in white and the rest is in blue. Maybe fade lighter to darker blue :-?.

Space scene not your best, cause the planet looks fake (texture wise). Other then that its good. Avatar is good also. Great job!

There are some flaws in it, which have already been mentioned. Other than those, nice job.

Yeah, the square lookin' stars just look terrible. Starfield behind it is good though. Also, your planet shading is way too sudden. Make it more transitional.

the stars look underwater. i would make them sharper, or take off the gaussian blur
