Anything which isn't a rare is not a good investment. Anyway the better thing would of been to merchant the set every couple of weeks and bought back so that you would of had alot more money than what you have now.

that's because there not meant to be a investment, they're there to help you train. if they were then the prices wouldn't be dropping every week.

I have miss the 'partyhat' investment boat but i accept the fact that I am not the early batch to play this game.

 

 

 

During the early days of my game, I do not have the spare cash to invests into any phat.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A big salute those who have the forsight to have invested into phat and are still holding on to them.

good investment. I wouldn't be suprised if the price for a 1 mask set was like 300m in 5 years because prices for rares keep on inflating. My advice: save that mask set!

Should have bought 2 sets. One to wear and one to sell (eventually)

id prefer to keep the rares, sure they may raise in cost as inflation spirals out of control, but i find that they are priceless to me

The last set i brought cost me 6.1 mill.

I like to think that it takes more skill to make smart investments rather than simply click your mouse a few hundred times more than the person next to you.

That is 10.8m profit/year so far.

 

 

 

If you have decent stats you can get that much money in a single week.

 

 

 

And when you buy rares they are stuck in your bank for such a long time, frozen and un-usable money.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This kind of investing is useful only if you have enough money to buy in bulk amounts.

Well, I just bought another red h'ween, let's see how far this investment goes... :) I'll probably only sell one, other one is a keepsake. :D

But the trick is to get that 99 skill with limited time spent and limited resources available as a pure f2p and still end up with several mask sets siting in the bank.

Well for most people it is hard work. But for some it comes easier than others. It's a talent, a gift even. The eye of the merchant. :)
