And if people are silly enough to stand around yelling "Buying lemon 5k" instead of exploring the game more, then far be it for me to get in the way of how they want to play.

It wasn't wrong of him for taking advantage of people who aren't willing enough to do research about something before buying. This isn't really scamming because everyone know's the price of items are at it's peak once it is released so they weren't smart enough to not buy and wait. Soon enough someone would eventually sell it for the price less than it's sold at cause the weapons aren't that great.
