Well, I was supposed to max out at 23 or so. I've been doing 27's, 28's and once a 36 and a 40 damage over the hour or so I was testing it on phrinns.

 

 

 

It seems there's a chance (10% maybe less) that you do double damage. Or maybe it adds to your strength bonus some times.

 

 

 

Either way, since the damage is not consistent, I wouldn't call it a great weapon for high level training. Mid level training could find it very useful coupled with the salve amulet.

So anyone have any idea how this compares to regular whip training on those?

i just tried it, you do hit some high numbers but really rarely.

 

the gadderhammer is two handed so no shield and more food needed, it also has a very slow attack rate.

 

if you have whip just stick to that, but if you use rune weapons normally then this would probably be better, better then a granite maul i think, maybe even some dragon weapons.

 

 

 

I've tried hitting some 'high numbers' on the level 40 shades at the broken temple, as well as other undead monsters and it wont do any "extra" damage. bleah hammer is worthless imho. :?

 

 

 

Also what's a phrinns?

To be more exact, I think that the bonus is more potent on the high leveled shades. It doesnt seem to do much against loar shades, but it's noticable against riyl.

i've tried the gadderhammer on asyn shades, and i was able to hit 42 the max, i missed taking a pic while i was chatting with a friend, but i rarely got the max hit (constant 22 - 28 hits though)

 

 

 

you do get hit more often by shades because its a 2hand weapon.

 

don't know if it works on shades only or all undead monsters

 

 

 

BTW: im strentgh and attack 90.

in the same time it takes me to get 26 lvl 100 shades i only got 16, using the same amount of food(14 lobbies) and sup str and sup att and salve ammy for both ways, with gad it took me longer to kill even though i did hit some 36's, with gad i even had to use prayer more to get to 16

 

i'll stick with my d scimmy until i buy me a whip that is
