March 25, 200620 yr well today i was trying to sell my green h'ween mask in world 1 varrock. then some guy pm's me (i have split chat on) and says "i received reports that you have been scamming green h'ween masks" and that he/she "is a jagex employee". i add him to respond and notice he/she is in world 35. well i realize hes a pass scammer immedately, and wate till he goes flat out and says "jagex doesnt have your valid pass" and "i need it to sweep you to see if ur scamming so give me your pass" so then i report him and tell him "reported for pass scamming". the thing that bothers me though is people obviously dont go to world 1 rares section to pass scam because its so hard just to get a name of sumone trading/selling, and he/she was in a completely different world. the only way he/she would know that i was selling green h'weens was by the tip.it fourms, a place i know and trust. so one out of the 7 ppl that read my selling green h'ween was a pass scammer. oh well, hopefully jagex will ban this guy from my report

March 26, 200620 yr It's possible that he had an acomplise that happened to be in world 1 and PMed him with your name and had him PM you with what he said. Perhaps they were thinking since he was on a different word, yet knew what you were selling (thanks to his friend) you would really think that he was Jagex staff and fall for the scam.

March 26, 200620 yr Not to be rude, but and? I see your point and all, but anyone with sense will realise juts like for every 50 good players in the game there is about 2 bad ones.
