March 29, 200620 yr Do you think the shade remains will actually be sold by people now? Also, do you think shade burning will actually be used more often now for prayer/firemaking xp? 99 Crafting Blog
March 29, 200620 yr ...I am unsure of the remains being sold. I doubt they will be, at least as a viable trade. There are other ways of training prayer that require less resources. A handful of players might buy them, but I doubt this will ever become much of a market. But I do however beleive there will be more shade hunters trying their hands at the shades minigame.
March 29, 200620 yr nah it will not happen it just takes to long to burn a shade its not worth the efffort i think
March 29, 200620 yr lmao.....i was assigned a slayer mission of X amount of shades and i thought that meant i had to bury bones and kill those shades (the random event) so will someone tell me where i find these shades? also what lvl are they and what is this talk about prayer exp from them?.....thnx
March 29, 200620 yr I never really starting burning shades till after I got 80 firemaking. This update helped me alot. Cut my time to make a mil in half. But, I don't think there is much market for shade bodies. The lvl120s are the only ones worth burning for xp. (100 ea) However, they require a silver key to get to. So only people who can burn yew pyres can access them. This really limits the number of people who can collect shade remains. Perhaps, if enough people get into shade burning a market for sacred oil will appear. Paying 1 to 2k per sacred oil (4 dose) isn't against my religion. I would be getting good prayer & firemaking xp, doing combat, and getting decent money or breaking even if I bought my mage logs. Exclusive Legacy Mode Player He just successfully trolled you with "courtesy" and managed to get a reaction out of you. Lol

One: You should go do Priest In Peril and any other quest you need to do to get into Morytania. Then venture into Mort'ton. There are several shades, and you get prayer exp and colored metal keys for burning the various corpses. However, you need to have done at least part of Shades of Mort'ton quest to burn them. Loar shades hang around outside the tomb, higher lvl shades requiring higher level pyrelogs to burn hang around inside the nearby tomb which can be opened by any metal colored key(such as bronze key red). There are chests inside the tomb that can be opened by these keys as well, that have various prizes inside them. Two: If you've done Mourning's Ends part 2, you will notice lvl 74 shades like to lurk inside the elven light temple...

March 29, 200620 yr actully i remember before that people would pay like 1k for a lvl 120 corpse, and i have definitly seen a marked increase in shade hunters. it went from being practicly dead to seeing 3 other regulars there at the 120s so theres definitly been increased. I believe this would become a good way of getting preyer exp for some and couple become a buisness with all the supplys beign tradeable plus the cremator would also actully get more then random events as returns on thier investment LK1 this random comment brought to you today by ADD: ADD, bringing random entertainment to all for generations
March 29, 200620 yr I plan to train melee on the lvl 120 shades. How much each would these shades go for? :P If they go for like 1.5K each then I'd gather the remains instead of just dropping. Urza. The One. The Legend.

March 29, 200620 yr I'm one of those folks who likes to do all of the task himself. If I were to go off and burn shades I would be collecting my own sacred oil and chopping my own trees. Unfortunately I'm similar to many other people in that respect. Most of the players on Runescape (as far as I have seen) will get their own supplies to do the task. As someone else said above, it's too much supplies to make it really useful. You need to be able to kill the lower shades or repair the temple then get the sacred oil, then go into the Shades Lair and kill more shades all the while cremating them to get that experience. I think I'd rather go kill Green dragons for Dragon Bones and then use the ectofunctus. But that's just me.
March 29, 200620 yr Dharok's FTW=I want the highest hp possible. Hey L-K Wanna train with me at the shades? Urza. The One. The Legend.
March 29, 200620 yr Any1 see an increase in people to barrows? I know shades will jump but like you said that new bank allows easy access to mort'ton so barrows and shade should both go up. I don't see a huge shade market. If it's easy for someone to get like 1k shades most people might just go and kill them themselves. Sacred oil on the other hand might have a market.
