OK, who ever said that eggs cannot walk! Behold the secret of walking, talking eggs!

 

 

 

If you walk and then put on your ring, you only walk for a little way in egg form. However, if you do the following, you can actually walk a fair way...

 

 

 

First, you need a couple of the Magic eggs (Blue an yellow ones). Make sure that you have the settings on 'Walk', not 'Run'. It is more effective this way.

 

 

 

You are ready to begin. First, click on the Mini map somewhere that you want to go. Choose somewhere as far away from where you are standing as you can. As soon as you start walking, eat the egg. It will go through the animation where you turn into a rabbit. As soon as you eat the egg though, and whilst it is still in the animation, repeatedly click on the ring. If you do this correctly, when you come out of the animation, you will walk to where you want to go in egg form. You don't so much walk as glide. Its pretty cool :lol:

GIFs are made up of multiple pics, so for this it would be difficult, unless you do it repeatedly and take multiple pics of the different frames. It may be easier to download fraps and make a short, soundless video.

Hmm. That would probably be best actually. Take it on Camtasia and save it as a file that I can post here. I don't have time to do that tonight and I'm going away tomorrow. Anyone wanna do it for me?

You need to try and click as far away as you can. Try clicking somewhere where you need to go round a corner. And make sure you are on Walk.

Try standing on one side of a long fence or wall, like south of Varrock, heading to Lumbridge. The path will then be a lot longer than the regular "half-a-compass" league, so chances are you won't reach your target location before the emote is up

A good place to try would be from the mining guild ladders to the Falador east bank.

P.S. It works better to click the egg ring when the bunny animation is almost done. But you have to click it multiple times.

i know what you mean!!! i went round a friends house once and was playing some rs on his mac...gets well annoying. although there is a cure!!! (apart from buying a decent computer hahaha) go into options and set the number of buttons to 1 (this is now the equivalent of right clicking but on one button) its not amazing but its a lot better than not having a right mouse button at all...

 

by the way that egg walk is rather cool. i like using my ring of egg in the wildy to pk...you cant beat an egg...unless you use a whisk or something lol.

I might try this out sometime... I think that it would be cool to walk around as an egg without having to use this strategy though... :)

Yeah, so way to take my creation and give it out to everyone. And I was having fun amazing kids with that.

I know an cool trick too, you need your marionette for it.Click on your ring and then quickly right mousebutton and you can let your marionette dance walk or bow in egg form!

zombie walk doesnt work anymore :(
