I went to get soem nice free exp form tear of guthix. before today i was averaging 60's in my bowl and streams were continuos for a bit. today i barely got 9. the reason is that blue streams were on for about 2 seconds or less and very often followed by green ones. at one point i had 5 green streams and 1 blue in north and east sides.

 

 

 

maybe it's just bad luck, but for some reason i think it might be nasty update from jagex part.

 

 

 

could anyone confirm/deny this fact.

It's very hard to tell since the luck factor plays a major role. Sometimes i get in the high 40's, sometimes in the high 10's

well the problem was that streams were changing more often that it was last time i went there.

Just bad luck, since yesterday when I went I was able to get this:

They made tear's harder awhile back... I would always get 100+ and not have to move, but now I get 60 or 70 if im lucky and I find my self moving every 2 to 3 seconds.

yes, i think tears got harder, but maybe its just bad luck

I thought it was just me that it got harder. I barely get 80 anymore.

lol its just bad luck my average is about 90ish and my worst is 56 but there have been times when u get lots of blue for a long time and other days when i get blues for a short time and lots of green.

I just did it, got 102 tears and 48 farming from it. so it was probably bad luck.

last week i got 22, yesterday i got 76, so its just bad luck - or get some more qp.

 

remember that the story you tell limits your time - if you tell a novice quest, walk away before you start the mini, or you will have less time than for a master qwuest

I'm going to do guthix tears today and see if theres a difference. I remember just getting 40 once, so it could be bad luck.

A personal best. But I can always get over 100 tears, though I haven't been since the update. I think I'm due to go back in now so I'll go give it a shot.

Just for reference, the amount of time that you spend in the cave is based on the amount of quest points that you have. The more quest points, the longer you can stay in the cave. Hope this helps.

I just got 114 (my personal best) so I think it's working fine. :D

I think it has changed , the streams move so much faster now. I don't even bother chasing them around I just stand in one spot and it seems it works out better for me , and omg!!! I never knew about the more quest points you have the longer you get to stay in there, nice I did all the quests but ummm I still do poorly there go figure :roll:
