Yesterday I defeated Dessous and retrieved the second diamond. I just have a few questions about how to retrieve the third diamond. The Tip.It guide says you need to brind super attack and super strenght pots to keep your stats up, but what's the best way to fight Kamil? They suggest doing magic, but that gets drained too right :roll: ? And they also suggest that you have to bring armour or prayer robes, which aren't very good against mage (he attacks with mage and melee :? ) The only thing I want to know is: What kind of armour should I bring to fight Kamil, which kind of attack should I use and what kind of pots should I bring?

i used the best ranged armour i could for a sort of in between, it was blue for me, i used fire spells to kill him, it's not all too hard, but i had to make a second trip after all my stats were drained too far to smash the ice trolls

If you wear full ranged armour, how can you hit with mage? Mage attack is negative right?

i went there with super set, full invent of sharks whip and torags. i came out with 0 sharks, not pots, and 20hp lmao -.- (was combat 95)

 

you can try my way but eh.. not recomended unless you're 100+combat with good armour (now that i think of it, guthans should make this alot easier...).

 

 

 

People normally just mage with fire spells and protect from melle and drink a restore pot when their mage level gets too low (i think), you should try that.

but what armour should i wear? One guy told me I had to wear mage bottom and rune helm, pl8 and kite and use protect from melee against Kamil.... other people say wearing dhide is the best way.... There was even a guy ranging him to dead..... What do you recommend?

I did two trips at about lvl 85.

 

 

 

First one was killing the trolls, mage+ armour and protect from melee. Kill them with fire spells and bring some food as you get hit randomly by the "cold wind"

 

 

 

I think I kept the mystic on and used protect from Melee again Kamil. Sharks, prayer pots and super restores are a must.

 

 

 

Fire Blast him and he's dead easily. Bring a good crush weapon cause you have to smash some ice open at the end.

myself i just took best possible mage defence (berserker, glory,black hides, elemental shield) and used whip super att and str str pots to keep stats up.

Dont bring a super set, what i would do would be to bring super restore pots, i did that and used melee so that i wasnt being hit with the freeze every two seconds, just put on protect from melee and went at it, remembering to use super restore every so often to restore combat at prayer. It was no problem at all. Use prayer robes and the rest use for slash attack, or whatever you use.

I'd keep your mage defence up, and protect mage. his mage attacks hit like 10 only, so bring decent food and just blast / bolt him. It isn't that tough, but i think he is the hardest of the four diamond guardians. BTW, damis is easy, just poison him and wait, or range through a friend.

my self i had full black d hide and used d scimmy and took a few supers and load of sharks killed him very easy the bit that was doing my head in was getting to the trolls to free them well best of luck

Mage with fire bolt + chaos guantlets wearing mystic/monk robes. Bring lots of super restores and protect from melee. I had an awfull time trying to melee at cb 95.
