April 22, 200620 yr Merchanting for idiots: Buy something cheap, sell for equal or more than it is worth and make a profit. Personally, merchanting yews never worked too well for me, but I didn't try much after my first failure.
April 22, 200620 yr merchanting is buying something, gather large amounts, and sell those for more than you bought for Lamest attempt at a lure ever. No, Ive seen "selling easter egg 5m must be level 78 77 or 76 and meet at varrock bar unarmed.
April 22, 200620 yr I did my first merchanting today. A guy bought my addy helm, plate body and legs for 45k. I bought a full with kite and powerammy for 30k. Im happy.
April 22, 200620 yr Merchandising is what Yogurt does in Spaceballs  Merchanting is just buying something then selling it for a higher price. An example is buying yew longs in any quantity for say 275 gp, then once you get a lot, selling for 300 gp each. That's all there really is to it, although merchanting is one of the few things in Runescape that actually requires any real "skill" besides clicking. It can be very fast and profitable some days, but it takes money to make money (you usually need a couple of million gp to get off the ground). Honestly donutjunkie did you need to flame him? He used the wrong word for something, big deal. He seems to be fairly new to rs so he doesn't know what everything is yet.

April 22, 200620 yr I don't have a clue what merchandising is... OMG!!!111!!!oneone!!!eleven!! He wrote something bad! Let's be one of the mass and let's make fun of him!!! Merchanting took place with ess before the update too, people bought for 20-30 and sold for 40 each on forums. Now coal and iron might be good too. Buy iron for 75- each and sell in forums for 100, and buy coal for 150 and sell for 200 each. This signature is intentionally left blank.
April 23, 200620 yr he must be made fun of! he spelt it wrong for this he must die! or sumthin like that wat i dont get is that ppl say the=at merchanting phats is really good, specially the blue phat if u have enuf moni to afford a 200mill+ p hat why the hell would u need more money? i finally quit runescape to play world of warcraft. i play on frostmourne, alliancecheck out my threadhttp://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=479665&highlight=
April 24, 200620 yr I wouldn't get too much into Merchanting. The reasoning being that I believe there to be way too many Merchanters around at the moment. Everytime I look to buy something I notice about 5 merchanters offering it to me more expensive than im willing to pay for it. However, if you know what you're doing you'll do extremely well. April 24, 200620 yr Did you really need to make a topic here? you could of just looked in a dictionary or something
April 25, 200620 yr I wouldn't get too much into Merchanting. The reasoning being that I believe there to be way too many Merchanters around at the moment. Everytime I look to buy something I notice about 5 merchanters offering it to me more expensive than im willing to pay for it. However, if you know what you're doing you'll do extremely well. That's why you need to merchant raw matierials. Take coal, people will buy coal, make steel bars, then make cannon balls and use them. Then they'll need more. Buy more coal. Someone buys d med. He wont want another one unless if he dies (highly unlikely, unlessed pked) then he'll need a new one. So I say to merchant raw matierials. P.S Dont merchant yews, I've heard there's too many sellers and not enough buyers. Espeically now since the ess update nats might go up and ruin the high alch cycle. Better be safe than sorry. April 25, 200620 yr the base is "buy low, sell high" its very risky with the price changes, you could lose allot of money. Proud Member Of The Wilderness Guardians:http://z6.invisionfree.com/Wildguard/index.php?act=idx^Visit Us Sometime^
