illidan_98 Posted April 24, 2006 Share Posted April 24, 2006 I dont know wheather this is gonna help or not, but here goes :) . I might of discover a way to "hunt" some randoms. Use a full inventory, which has some tele runes/alching runes and bank notes to alch. turn all ur chats off and go to a place with alot of monsters, but with very little amount of people, (personally, i prefer crandor skele room) and kill the same thing for like 10-20mins, dont pick anything up. Then attempt to teleport/alch something, 7 times outta 10, u'll get one of the "rarer" randoms. From my experiance, I got a drill demon (bottoms), an evil bob, 2 quizmasters, a mime (only glass box emote :( ) and 2 genies. Danqazmlp Posted April 30, 2006 Share Posted April 30, 2006 i know another way of getting almost surefire randoms 7 out of 10 tries: go to the top of varock castle on a low populated world have full invent of food and tele runes kill gurards without picking up drops for about 30-60 kills after that try pickpocketing 1 of the guards. you will get a random event half of the time it will be a watchman but the other half it will be worthwhile randoms Want to be my friend? skaternik2 Posted April 30, 2006 Share Posted April 30, 2006 i got almost all ym randoms on karamja: i trian at the lessers(up...there were onyl 2lessers are) and all 10misn i alch soemthing(take fire staff+nats with ya) if i dong et something out of steel or somethign i alch ashes......so i get about 1mime, or drill,forester, or 3genies,......etc per trip! thats my best way to get randoms! But u dont need to be in an unpopulated area. when i was fighting blue drags and then was full and tellied out almost every time i got a random :D just watch out when u come back like that. i got fried and lost my rangers when i came back from random fighting blues. ya but u can pick stuff up. all u really have to do is kill monsters for like 20-30 minutes. alch something and repeat. u will most likely get a random like that. u can even pick stuff up, that usually helps me. arctiz Posted May 12, 2006 Share Posted May 12, 2006 Yea, I think it does work. I've been alching steel and mith drops at lessers, but my inventory was never full. Around 60-70% of the alchs had events and i alched something every 5-15 minutes, depending on drops. Majority were dwarfs btw.
