Anyway staying on topic, I've had their two albums a while now and just got their new one the other day and it's amazing. Probably not as good as the first two, but it has some brilliant songs. 'The Theft' is something I never thought Atreyu would be able to do, and it's one of the best on the album. Definitely recommend buying it.

I still think The Curse is their best CD. With songs like Bleeding Mascara, This Flesh A Tomb, The Remembrance Ballad, Demonology And Heartache and Nevada's Grace.. and the obvious favourites Right Side Of The Bed and The Crimson. But they haven't wrote a song better than Lip Gloss And Black.

You can get noticed without selling out. Look at Pantera, number one album in America and still re-defined metal throughout the ninetines while Metallica were off selling out and making hard rock records.

If people...a lot of people have this thing in their head where if a band gets big, they've sold out. As long as we're doing the same [cabbage] we've always been doing, then we can't... if you know a lot of people want to like us we.re not gonna be like [bleep] that, we don't want to get big. Because who doesn't want to get big, I mean to do this as a job is a dream come true. I don't think anyone in their right mind would do anything to stop that.

No, I dislike them because of the incredible amount of hyppocracy that most emo bands use in their music. Why on earth would you be sad if you are making thousands of dollars per second? Plus, I don't like whiney voices and somebody screaming to make up for a band that is copying a lot of what other people have already set forth.

 

 

 

They are no better than MCR IMO.

 

 

 

Getting noticed is one thing, but doing everything to make money is NOT getting noticed. Mostly I just don't like the music anymore, but this has a factor in me not liking them.
