Reading teen mags targeted at oppersite gender.

Featured Replies

Just a random question i thought i would share....

do you like reading teen mags trageted directly at the oppersite sex?

so if your a guy - dolly and girlfriend etc....

and if your a chicky - boyfriend etc...???

post opinions....

I picked up a teenybopper girl magazine at my dentists office. There were ads every other page.

But no, not really. People in those magazines aren't particularly attractive. :?

Teaching and inspiring.

No i dont.

I like em because they're funny :D I can read about "how to read your boyfriend's palm" or "predict your relationship from the colour of his socks

I'm not one for reading magazines, however, if there's a copy of Heat lying about...

You've lost my respect Bubsa, I pity you...

Yeah, he lost mine too... You should know that Take A Break is the best.

That poses another interesting question, actually. Who reads magazines meant for stories of trauma and other such things!?

Boyfriend, that sounds more like a girl magazine than a guys magazine. But anyway, reading it can be fun somethime. But more for the laugh-factor than seriousness.

I have read men's mags in an atempt to understand them... but it just doesn't work like that. There are too many guys that are not the 'typical guy'. My boyfriend is one of them ^_^;

When I was younger I remember reading my sister's Just17 and the likes. Thought they were complete rubbish.

Whats the point of that? They just have p0rn for guys, and stupid tips for girls.

I once tried reading a girls magazine at the doctor's waiting room (I was bored) but promptly had to put it down because my eyes were hurting from excessive use of pink and flowers. Stayed away ever since.

and spot spaming my post...

also to who ever made the coment about boyfriend mag... its a mag made by gir;friend for the guys

I read those girly magazines (forced - do it only when I'm waiting for the dentist for check ups) and I don't have anything against it. I just think it's [developmentally delayed]ed that the adverts actually outweigh the content.

The mags are nothing more than a whole bunch of ads and a little bit of "AW MY GAWD LOOK AT WHAT SHE IS WEARING! HIDEUS! WTF RLY!"

And then there are magazines like Vougue where you literally have to SEARCh for a page without ads. Pathetic.

Me.

For the amusement factor. Which is another thing I find funny with chick magazines.

Even my sister is "wtf-mate" towards some of the rubbish you can read in them

Now that I think about it, I don't even have any guy magazines, per se.

Unless the TV Guide counts, then that's the only one :P

I have a few female friends who find Maxim to be amusing.
