The old topic has moved out to a new home in the South, so my new goal decided to move in. :D Finished my fishing recently, and after so much fishing, even one's most hated things become likeable. So, I am currently raising defence, and slaying as I do so. Beginning Defence - 83 Current Defence - 89 Beginning Slayer - 64 Current Slayer - 72 My goals are pretty straigh-tforward. :P Will edit in a few other things later. (I was totally the first to have this in my thread :lol: ) Well, when I started Runescape, I immediately took a liking to fishing and cooking. Ive always wanted them very high, and I recently (semi recently) decided I wanted to max their levels out. These goal signatures will show you how far along I am on each of my goals. I started with cooking, and on February 10th 2006, I completed my cooking goal, with the level of 99. Soon followed 100 cooking (months after) After I passed over the "What do I do know" phase, I began fishing (unfortunately, it took me a good 2 and a half months for this phase). I began with lobsters, but with the release of the "Swan Song" quest, and the new "Monkfish", I quickly switched over to fishing Monkfish. Here are the dates for my fishing levels, so far. 81 - 4/14 82 - 4/22 83 - 4/24 84 - 4/26 85 - 4/30 86 - 5/4 87 - 5/6 88 - 5/9 89 - 5/15 90 - 5/20 91 - 6/5 (Had to up combat to 90 for clan, as well as a week constructing to 70) 92 - 6/10 93 - 7/29 (Has a lot of real life things going on in that time, but am back to finish now) 94 - Unknown due to data loss 95 - Unknown due to data loss 96 - 11/25 97 - 12/25 (one month for the level... youch!) 98 - 1/13 99 - 1/27 Thank you for viewing! From my experience, monkfish are almost as fast exp as fly fishing. Monkfish are 120 fishing exp, while trout are 50, and salmon is 70. That means that one monkfish equals 2 salmon/trout (approx, random). When I tried fly fishing at a lower level, and compared it to lobster fishing at that same level, I got around 500 more exp in the 5 minute period. I find monkfish around the same speed as lobs, so with the extra exp, Id say theyre quicker, if not just as quick as fly fishing.
