Jagex possibly only listens to high levelers...

Perhaps the "high level" or one of the high levels that was there was a mod. The mod reported you, and since they have priority reports, you got banned.
No, they both said "owned" and "haha", "noob" stuff like that and both were'nt a mod.

My mod friends say that a lot :P And those words are not against the rules to say. Also they may take into account of how long you have been playing RS.

Only 3 days. Study, Work on a noob account, go outside, whatever. 3 days is 3 days. Not long at all...

I've never said it was long

Yea umm these days combat has nothing to do with how long you've been playing.... and now with how easy RS is that 10 years olds get 100+ combat in a few months... maturity has nothing to do with level eaither..... So honestly you got banned for swearing fair and square I would have reported you to....

Here's what I don't understand. Why do you have the need to swear in a game? It's not like it's gonna make a difference in the big scheme of things if another player in the game isn't playing the way you think they should be playing. I get called a noob and cussed at because I don't want to sell something, I just say, "Get a life!" because there's more to life than Runescape.

And if I get cussed at, I report them. If they get banned for it, it's their fault. There's nothing more to it than that.

I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant.

I don't mind low levels, I even stop and chat or help them out sometimes.

But...the reason I beleive that if they did listen to high levels, it would be, well....have you ever visited Runescape Official Forums? The low levels make a mockery of all of their kind out there, especially in suggestions forum, not to mention their grammar and sentecnes make no sence at all.

Now, that's not all, but it's most. There's also high levels like that, but not as much. Now if that's true, that's why I think that is.

I don't think it's the high level that counts, it's your black marks. Having them makes you more susceptible to reports, which is pretty sad considering there is no known way of getting rid of it.

But players are also to blame. If only people don't gloat as much in an insulting way...

I honoustly doubt their report-abuse-system makes a difference in the level the actual reporters are, who knows, we cant exclude the possibility. But it is most unlikely, why should they make a difference? Other then that the higher levelers most likely been playing doesnt mean they get more income from them. :?

I believe they do look into more. It isn't because your just a high level, but most more advance players will only report if it is actually true. It could also be you have been reported before and you were caught for the "x" time so thye decided to ban you.

one of my p-mod buddies said that saying "*" isnt bannable (weird, huh?)

Knowledge Base>How do I report abuse?

"If the chat filter has blocked out the profanity then there is no need to send in a report as they did not actually break the rules."

:)

I don't think reports from "higher" levels are looked into moreso than others, because that wouldn't be fair at all. They obviously can't base whose reports they read on people's levels; it doesn't always reflect experience with the game. Even so, experience shouldn't be looked at when looking at players' reports, in my opinion.

Now, I'm not ranting about that I'm getting banned, I know what I did was wrong, but I've thinking perhaps Jagex only reads reports from high lvl players, who have been playing for a long time, rather than other lvl players.

Just a suggestion.

Just because the person who reported you was a high level, it has nothing to do with Jagex "only listening to high level players."

I've seen a level 50 player mod, so don't try to say that lower level players don't have a say in anything.

I don't know if I agree with a 3 day ban for what you said, but in all honesty, it wasn't the correct choice of action. I know you said you knew what you did was wrong, so maybe next time you'll learn to think before you speak.
