Many people would tell you not to cut Yew trees until you hit about level 70, but I would just stick with Yew trees. You may not get them as often, but they give pretty good experience per log and you can sell them for up to 300gp each (although I know you're not interested in money).

If you really feel like you're not making much progress, you could always chop Willow trees around the pond between Lumbridge and Draynor. I wouldn't bother trying to fight the crowd behind the Draynor bank since you're not going to be banking the Willow logs anyway.

The fastest experience is actually willows. Don't expect good profit, of course, unless you're cutting huge amounts of them, and even then the per hour profit isn't great.

only reason i dont want to chop yews is all the autos :( they make it hard to get fast, it takes me twice as long to get an inv. full, i was thinking of willows, i chop those pretty fast, i think thats what ill do, thanks

Actually maples is the fastest.

The self-proclaimed king of bronze.

If you're p2p, there are no autoers at the yews, but by the way you said that I'm assuming you're f2p.

Go to the willows by Draynor, they're fast xp, just keep in mind you'll get almost no profit.

Rimmington is a good spot for this. There are a few trees just south of the town, and hardly anybody goes there. Just cut a load, then it's a quick walk to the general store to sell.

Willows for F2P, Maples or Yews for P2P

All Quests completed

6 Dragon boot drops, 14 Whip drops

Willows in draynor and bank them. Its fast xp, and you might as well bank instead of looking for a store. Should have a few thousand before lvl 70.

go to that spot near rimmington, lots of willows, no one there, and a general store really close so you can sell them for extra cash

willows near port sarim are good too...cut them til around 65 or so and yews should come somewhat easier

Currently P2P.

I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand.
