Nahdrav
From the Jagex Mainpage Although the main focus of this week's update was the huge change to the game engine, we have also made some minor adjustments to the popular minigame, Pest Control. In response to feedback from players, we have slightly weakened some of the attacking monsters. Furthermore, successful players will find that they can now accumulate up to 250 Void Knight Commendation Points rather than being stopped when they reach 15. This is to give you the opportunity to save up points to buy exciting new rewards that will be released soon. Down in the Kharidian desert, Slayers will also find that the desert lizards have had a slight change too. The smaller varieties of desert lizard now have the same Slayer level requirement as the adult desert lizards did, and they can now only be killed with the aid of icy water, available from your local Slayer Master. RAHK
2 questions: 1. Is this the only thread quoting this update? 2. Am I the only person here getting the 250 points before the new stuff is released? PM me in game to use some skills of mine (glories/potions) free or to ask a question.Fire Cape - 04/29/06 Lvl 104RAHK's Pro PC Gear and Guide(clickable) Tired of hack and slash? truffles
Yeah, last night I needed to cash in 34 points, it didn't take too long but it did get annoying, and it has allowed me to estimate that cashing in 250 points individually would take somewhere around 40 minutes of straight clicking. Candymann16
i really dont understand why they havnt already put in a 'buy x' option when using points, would be alot better and quicker, espeically if the clothes are rubbish and people have 200+ points banked, would take forever to spend them all

bigmoneyak
Im getting the 250 points. World 6 is the place to be for fast and efficient pest control. I too hope they lets us cash all with the update if it the items suck. I'm wishing they didn't make the prayer xp less:-( But you all owe it to yourself to check it out. Its a lot easier and a ton more fun that you no longer have to cash your points in all the time. :-D The Slayers Guild a Slayer Clan led by Axe Man Jack Proud to have written the most plagiarized Slayer guide on the planet. Irool
jagex definitely enough sense to know that if you're trading in 260k-300k+ exp worth of points they'll make it worth your while. And they've planned for this armor for a while so I have a feeling I won't be let down castlewars is kinda cool cause it's super unique to have and the mage mini game rewards are really cool so I have faith I'm sitting at 103/250 points at the moment 8-) and ive probably booked 400 pest control wins already b4 that and BTW. It's better to save your points up to 250 before cashing them in even if you aren't trying to get the new items because if you level the skill your training BEFORE cashing the points in, they're worth more exp per point for example if im planning to pest control until i get 100 wins and I'm 15k from level and I'm getting 1k per pest control at the moment, i shouldn't cash in any points between now and the 15k exp because they'll be worth a bit more than 1k after I make that level (which i can get fighting in pest control) so if you're doing pest control you're better off saving up to 250 even if you DONT plan on getting the new items :!: And who knows maybe they'll be godly. So save those points!!! Just a little tip ;) 100 Combat91 Strength70 Defense82 Attack85 Magic =)

kdb148
Tip.it home world also seems to be pretty good. Can anyone verify if the tweaked monster difficulty is noticeable? It seems unnecessary to me, the game difficulty seemed pretty much perfect because the exp rewards are so good. Check out this cool browser gladiator game! bigmoneyak
Tip.it home world also seems to be pretty good. Can anyone verify if the tweaked monster difficulty is noticeable? It seems unnecessary to me, the game difficulty seemed pretty much perfect because the exp rewards are so good. Its less monster strength, and more players efficiency and luck. If you have a good group with maybe 6 high levels and the noobs that are with you don't just stand around doing nothing you will power through the game withing 2 minutes. The only monkey wrench is the spinners that come out. Get on them as soon as you can or they will slow you down and give you a chacne to lose. On world 6 I am pretty much assured a victory, all my high level friends play here. I'm so used to winning I get upset if I lose. 211 points and counting. dorkvader
and also people should save to 250 not only because of the possible level ups, but also its not too hard, just at about 225-240 cash in 10-25 points worth and you'll be ok. so you dont waste any. it wont take too long and you will always have that supply there =) also if JAGeX does give us their armour, its probabley going to be EXTREMELEY expensive for awile (like infinity) or untradeable. so i'd recommend doing pest control as much as possible to capitalize on the rewards and make obscene amounts of money doing it =)
