I've never made one, so I am not sure which program to use..

 

 

 

I have heard some use Paint, but others seem to hate it..

Photoshop is the most used program for pictures...u can also check the sticky about the programs

pixel sigs can be done in paint easily . . .u don't really need photoshop . .but photoshop is a little easier to use due to the layers and stuff . . . u can also buy a drawing pad for your computer lol .. .those work so well .. .

i use photoshop or graphicsgale.

Most pixel sigs are made in paint or photoshop.

I use paint, but that's only because I don't have any other programs :(

I use photoshop, but paint can do just as well. Its just in photoshop its easier to edit things and move things around.

ms paint for pixel sigs and GIMP for abstract which i am terrible at

Im not a pixel-er, but I tried it on GraphicsGale, its really good.
