I've been fishing a lot lately in order that I may achieve 70 cooking for Recipe for Disaster (I know, for a lvl 95 my fishing and cooking stink, shush :oops: ). I was wondering, what do you guys do when you fish? 'Cause you sure as hell don't watch the screen unless you're talking with someone :P . So what do you do?

 

 

 

I like to watch FMA (Fullmetal Alchemist) videos on Putfile and Youtube (mods can take these out if they don't want me to post sites). I actually watch a lot of them when I fish, so many that I have a list of everyone I've watched with rating /5, so I can watch the ones I like again :mrgreen: (I'd post it but it'd be a b***h transferring it from a Word Document). So, what do you do while you fish?

I fish while I fish... :lol: I also read forums and chat with friends on MSN... :)

If I'm not talking to friends, like you mentioned, I'm reading forums.

Well, for those who fish regularily on Karamja, you would probably understand when I say that usually the conversation is pretty...interesting[/i[. lol But I also chat and usually listen to podcasts

While I fish, I chat with the people around me (I feel the need to keep and eye on the screen for those River Trolls).

 

 

 

And if those people don't respond or there's no one around, then I open up my iTunes Music Library (

I normally browse forums specifically Goals and Achievements on here and Rants on the official forums. Alot of interesting things go on in those forums.

Hey, when you've got the cash- 8-) (and thousands upon thousands of Blood runes stocked from the Barrows :lol: ).

I find myself typing lyrics for the people around me. Since alot of my songs are metal, I get paranoid, because I kinda type without thinking.

I usually read these forums while fishing. Check my RS window from time to time though just in case something stupid happens.

browse forums, watch pk vids and anything else that i think of which wont interrupt it too much

Read books, browse forums (these ones mostly), get worked up about how long it takes me to fish lobs and generally try to ignore the other people around me (what is it about fishing that attracts so many flamers, spammers and idiots?)

If none of my friends is around fishing with me I usually browse these forums and check back now and then :)

One of the following:

 

-Chat with friends

 

-Chat with another fisherman

 

-Keep people from getting scammed

 

-Do my math homework/other homework

 

-Read a book/magazine

 

-Plan the next few things I will be doing in Runescape

 

-Eat

 

-Watch TV

 

-Watch a DVD on the big, virus infected desktop computer.

 

-Post on tip.it

 

-Watch a couple PK vids

 

-Take a rest, close my eyes

 

-Talk to people on AIM

 

-Just sit there like a dumb idiot with my eyes glued to the computer screen, examining everything I see... (OCE diesease... or watever it's called, lol)

 

-Do a nice tidying of the study room. It always seems to be a mess.

 

-Call someone and chat with them irl

I usually read forums and chat with friends while fishing. :)

I also read books whilst fishing and it passed the time very well. I also tend to do homework that is engaging because fishing is a one click thing, then check to see if you got a random event and then every ten or so seconds check to see if the spot moved or is a whirlpool.

 

 

 

Here's where I show off my nerd badge. Because I generally get emerged in a good book or I'm engrossed in my Math Homework I made a very small Flash app' if you will that plays a beep every thirty seconds. I keep my hand on the Arrow keys and when I hear the beep I press the keys to keep me from logging out. When I finish the problem or a couple minutes have passed I'll look up and check the fishing spot.

When I fish, I usually fish monkfishes now, so there's barely anyone to talk to.

 

 

 

I usually talk over pm, msn, or listen to music.

lol ice barrage ducks would look funny, and when i'm bored i usually browse stuff like forums

i browse music forums, talk on msn and listen to music 8-) fishing can be very boring :roll:
