^^Finished product. I tried to put in something like a cactus and cow skull but my computer crashed and I lost all the work so I just shaded the ground and added some text. w00t MS Paint all the way!

 

 

 

 

^^Ok I changed the stars a bit but I still need to fix the tree roots. I would also like help shading the plastic tree :?

Good work, I hate cowboys and country people though, good shading on the stars, moon, hat and sky there.

i want to see this guy finished,

 

i think to make it look better i would make him have a black cav or ranger hat. just because they are cool. but thats my opinion and the sky and is very well done can't wait for the finished product.

It was pink because I made it in another doc so I wouldn't screw up the BG. I used the pink to seperate the guy from the white BG of the other doc before I transferred.

WOW The update is so gorgeous it pulled me away from my face drawings!!!!!

 

 

 

The only thing I can see wrong so far is the sky is a little too sudden changing in colour, try blend it a little more.

only thing i could say was dither the lines together on the background so that the sky isn't so color 1 then color 2 then color 3... gradualy blend them together

Thanks, I knew something was wierd about the sky.

The parts you shaded are very nice, now try to fill the background abit and you'll have a very cool sig :D

"Finished", which means C/C and I'll try to steadily improve. Took about 8 hours work.

there are alot of stars,if you remove a few it would look better :wink:

Bottom of the tree is flat and 2D. Try adding some roots near the bottom around it and round the bottom off too.

i really like it! its very good consideiring some of your other works ( no offence sme of htem werent so...good).i dont really have c/c for this cept, the hat's little bump? is thinner than the guys head so it wouldnt fit :?

My first C/C here so take it with a grain of salt. I try not to bring up anything that's already been mentioned.

 

 

 

I like the overall "mood". Makes me want to rent an old Clint Eastwood flick. :lol:

 

 

 

His skin tone and poncho tones match the ground behind him (not a bad thing) and his hat kind of blends with the sky and because his hat begins at the horizon line, it causes the entire cowboy to fade into the scenery just a tad. My suggestion would be to bring the horizon line down to ear or jaw level so he stands out more.

 

 

 

This isn't a big deal. The hat looks a little more like it's sitting on his forehead than the fitting around his whole head. My suggestion here is to simply cut off some of the rear brim so it looks like it's coming down more.

Yea there are a lot of stars and they all look uniform, they should be more random and different sizes. Tree looks kind of shiney and the ground is lacking for details but it looks pretty good. :)
