May 20, 200620 yr you can wc/fish without talking and not get logged out. i barely ever talk on rs. in fact, i never talk. thats what tip.it chat is for. if im not doing anything on rs but i dont want to log out then i just click the stats page in rs and that gives me another 2 mins to stay logged it... dont have to talk. that is just stupid imo Sig is thanx to Cookie!!!

I don't know about number 1, as I don't use the RuneScape client. Number 2 - It's the games way of logging you out if you're inactive... it's been like that for quite a long time. You don't have to talk, you just need to click. As for number 3, it's not a 1.5 millisecond delay. It varies with who you are talking to. It's so both players receive the message at the same time. Before, you would talk and it would show up on your screen right away, but the person you were talking to wouldn't see it until another second or two later. This was because the chat bypassed the server before, but now, it goes through the server for both people, so both players see the message at the same time.

May 21, 200620 yr These aren't new updates anymore, there are threads already, use the search button. Number 1: No idea what you mean here, I use the rs client and it's the same. Number 2: This isn't an update, been this way for a long time now. Number 3: Explained above, also explained in several other threads before this one, and on the runescape news about the new game engine, the official rs forums, and who knows where else. 89/99 farming
May 21, 200620 yr Erm Either OP is confused or everyone else is. But as far as i understand it it's everyone else :P You definately did not have to talk to stop being logged out. Moving the mouse around on the screen was enough, maybe clicking to stats then back to your invent.
