It got me confused a bit, I tried talking to all the citizens and workers, but no extra chat or anything and you cant keep "helping" them when you reach 100%. So I have no clue what they ment by it, hopefully someone will have figured it out within the next few days or weeks :?

i dunno about the knew style but on the old style i left them money in there got 100% favour and set them to herbs and got 1 lousy unid guam. as soon as i get some money ill check out the new system but i only have 827gp

the system is still junk i think i put in 19k with max aproval and i only got 1 cad herb 1 potato, 1 onion,1 reberry,1 cadava and 1 gwam seed thats with max on herb and rest on farming... very anoyying

 

 

 

moral of storry, all money wihtdrawn and once again the island can just rot

Thing is that you only put in 19k, so the amount taken from the coffers would be 1.9k, an extremely low amount of gp.

well, thats a nice profit, yew seeds and rannar seeds and a few herbs. So the new rewards are worth it after all maybe?

 

 

 

Please share some screenshots or some information about your new loot from the workers with the popularity and money input and say if you think it it was worth the 'trouble'.. (its fun :twisted: ) and if you will continue, even if it on a weekly base, instead of a daily base.

I put 300k in the treasury. Set my slaves to collect mostly flax and seeds, with a lil bit left over for coal.

 

 

 

I went back today, got 375 flax, bout 60 coal, and tons of seeds. Missed the screenie ops! I didn't get any tree seeds, I did get some marr seeds tho and some tarrs.

 

 

 

I put 25k more in there and made sure my satisfactions up to full. I reset my slaves to only gather flax and coal. I also had to clear out a sick amount of bank space!

 

 

 

We'll see what happens next week.

As far as I can tell, the mini-game has been balanced impressivly. Products are closer and even a little over the normal street price. Great news about getting the yew tree seed and some herb seeds. This is really more then the 75k you invested.

 

 

 

Also, as far as I' ve heard, nobody has found the ' extra bonus ' for putting alot of effort into the minigame.

 

 

 

Keep posting a few screenies, because all the postive feedback is good advertising for this fun minigame!

How can I get the bird nests? By making people cut down maple trees?

still nobody knows, as far as I've heard, It's not even certain to receive birdnests from the island. Still waiting for confirmation though. But it could be the ' bonus' received.

 

 

 

But don't count on getting bird nests every time you let them woodcut for you.

alright I'll flip a mil in there later. and just see how much flax and say coal I get for my money. as thats probably one way we can compaire it with the rest of the market. Honestly, the seeds are a joke, at least for me, I'd rather slay for herb seeds and buy some tree seeds and get much more xp with alot less effort.

Im currently waiting for my subjects to gather up my materials as well, it'll be until 9pm (canadian mountain time) until I get the stuff though.

 

 

 

I have 100% satisfaction from them. Have currently 5mil in coffers.

 

 

 

Mining bar is filled - Hopefully will get a large amount of coal :D

 

The farming bar is filled nearly halfway as well.

 

 

 

Once I get the rewards I'll work on posting a pic here to show you guys it if was worth it. :)

100% teak = 301 logs

 

50% seeds = all garbage except 1 willow seed and 3 limp

 

 

 

Trying this as we speak:

 

100% mahogony

 

50% herb

 

 

 

All are at max cash and 100% loyalty. This is definately the way to go for teak at least. Since I will probably get fewer than 300 mahogony I think I will stick to teak from misc and mahogony from karamja. Less trips to the bank is always a good thing. :wink:

 

 

 

P.S. If you are doing the max cash and you make a 100%/50% split you can figure that the 100% cost 50k and the 50% cost 25k (and all other permutations of course 50%/50%/50%, 75%/75%, etc.) so that means I spent around 166gp each teak and 25k for some garbage seeds. The exception of course is if that willow seed came from the "extra effort" on the wcing as opposed to the normal haul from the seeds. Tomorrow should tell if I am lucky. :D

To bad its only a ring in the nest, but at least now we know that you can get bird nests from your workers/citizens while they are working on rare trees.

These rewards don't look bad compared to the terrible old ones.. I'm gonna put 500k in on 100 percent teak and mahogony and 50 percent coal...post results tomorrow

I just tested 100 % farming and 50 % herbs, they took 75k of my 900k

DEFINATELY a good way to blow 75k if you ask me. Still no nests from either trial with 100% rare trees. Perhaps only maples or they are just sort of rare. I need a red egg and a spirit seed to complete my set so I can keep my fingers crossed. :)
