zonda
I would just wait... kind of like the farming thing mention before, then again I usually like to wait untill after the rush is over. Farming is still level 1 and I most certainly won't do a quest without a guide, lol. Call me what you want ...
attackyomom
i also think teak and mahogany will be one of the top woods sense they wont be usin yew or magic whos ever heard of yew funiture or magic also sounds bad but i play guitar so know a little about woods and mahogany and teak both very expensive woods and highly used for expensive well made furniture oak being on the cheaper side but i always found this kind of weird but karamja has always been the africa place for me and asia is just refered to as far east but im pretty sure mahogany is from africa and teak is india and for guy who said mahogany teak easy to obtain magics and yews much easier to get they should keep it way it is or be nice to me so i can get fire up and put some in kharazi jungle but it isnt easy to obtain so far its not overly hard just way easier than magics or yews or any other wood and ya it definately isnt the most used wood but can yuo see jagex adding redwood or walnut, fir, rose wood or any other commonly used wood for caprentry they might eventually but you may be right and theyd surprise us with lots of new trees they may even have a quest that leads to a forest with tons of differnet trees used for the new skill we dont know so i say dont stock use for fire it great xp

E_D_G_E_1039
I myself cut 5k teak and 1k mahogany probably 2 months ago. I really had nothing better to do, and I know theyll be used in carpentry/construction when it is released, so I figured "why not?". I say go for it! Pokelda
I have been cutting Mahogany for quite a while... In fact, waaaayyyy before the new miscellania quest. It was actually nice to see some visitors at the trees... So anyways, I'll post my method of getting logs. First to get sticks, you can either kill jogres or sell topaz, jade and opal to the person who has the co-op shops. *I reccomend the latter but sell only when gems are below 10 in stock* Then get sticks, lotsa ardy teleports , a rune axe and some money. Go to the rares, pay 100 tickets and tele when you get a full inventory. It is also helpful to drink a few energy potions on the way back to get to the trees faster. Another faster way is to use the parcel system, but i dont reccomend it for it costs too much sticks in my opinion
cardovilian
Yes we should. (Dont worry, RS trees all come from renewable sources  ) Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you. Artemis_42
Personaly, I wouldn't go around getting thousands of these logs in the bank. They are either too far from a bank, or take a long time to get from Miscellenia. I'm getting myself around 1k or some of each, then i'll wait to see what happens. After all, it is likely that when you training construction, you will use lower levels of wood for lower level items. I makes sence after, the same principle applies with fletching and firemaking. I can't wait till they release POH and construction. I really need a new skill to help with my fantasticly low total level lol. TechHead7890
I think no- 1. Too far from the bank. If cut in TWB or Whatever. 2. Micscallenia- The lazy way costs stacks, and heaps of cash... 3. Jagex will proably make announce woods on the construction release day (or about) 4. Jagex will proably make more Mahogany & Teak trees if they don't (3). So, in my opinion you shouldn't. POH I think you'll have a "house section" to build on first. Then you chop up logs and they'll become "house walls/roof/floor/window-frame" then you use the house (parts) on the house section. It will display the costs in house parts then you select one, and you click one and it's builded Then you will have a house. It will be basically furnished if you pay 6K for a Matress bed, drawers, range sink and and dining table+chairs.

Oergg
not worth your time, if construction isnt coming for a month you can buy 6000 logs from jagex:\ i cut 8500, i wouldnt reccommend it unless you have tons ov sticks, running through abyss is too much a pain
