Santiago
Hi all Do you think phats will ever get to be a price where they will be impossible to sell? Look at the blue phat, currently around 230mil so it is out of reach of a majority of RS players. The price just keeps going up and up. What happens if they eventually hit 1bil or even 2bil? Even ultra rich people might be hesitant to spend that much on a phat. At that point would it be impossible to sell? Imagine having something worth so much and not being able to sell. RcS89
I'm not too sure... I guess however, that there will be a point when Party hats stop raising as you said. If noone can afford one, how can the price go up?
Leonard12440
Look at the blue phat, currently around 230mil so it is out of reach of a majority of RS players. It was always that way, because there are less blue phats then active players
Tokytoky3333
Oooh interesting, I'm still working on saving for a santa lol  I don't know what it is, but something keeps telling me you "own"?"When you're happy it's like you're a bird; you can fly. n64jive
you must not understand. p hats are at the price they are at, because that is the highest you can sell them for. Merchants are bout the only ones with p hats these days(and those who bought em cheap and didnt sell em when they got higher then they expected(ME)). Its not like someone says, PHATS ARE THIS PRICE, YOU CANT SELL EM FOR CHEAPER!...If it would ever be impossible to sell the Hat at that price, then the price would be lowered to meet the demands. swordwarior
they will always be reachable by someone. The reason they are able to go up in price is because of the money coming into the game.
Santiago
Ah ok understand it a bit better now. Thankyou. :P
Jumpeplowski
I wish party hats would just tear themselves apart so that there would be none left in RuneScape. Either that, or hand out party hats to everyone. Those things are so annoyingly overpriced.
Kill_Life
Yes, it will happen that they become very high. Tough, players would still be able to buy them. Atleast some players. The new ones won't, but old players will still be able to buy them. "A man's gotta do what a man's gotta do"[Currently playing: K1ll L1f3]
Uula
When, if ever, the price reaches the magical ~2.1b, they can't be traded for GP... But I'unno really, I wish I had at least a purple :(
Kryptic
I have a theory about phats. A lot like the 1930's market crash, I believe phats will do the same. Essentially, phats will keep increases, such as all rare items. Then they will plateau at a lever where no one will be buying at. In other words, no one will be willing to pay money for phats, thus the prices will drop! Its just a theory, likeliness of this happening is slim-to-none. But if it did, I just want you guys to remember about this post :) In Khazakstan we say God, Man, Horse, Dog, then Woman, Rat and small cockroach..M.A.D 4 Lyfe
