I've been posting kind of often in The Gallery but I've been creating different stuff and I like your opinions... Anyway, I was experimenting with The GIMP and I made these two sigs. I followed the same style and color scheme for the background but I was just practicing. Well, here they are:

Those turned out nice the only thing i would say is add like a 1 pixel border to them to give them a finished appearance other than that good work :)

i like the top one a lot... not so fond of the bottom one though. the render looks blurry to me, and i dont like the black lines in the bottom left corner.. but thats me

I love them both, I'm probably being Bias because I love Legend of Zelda and Narute, but the LOZ one is really good, can't wait for the new Twilight Princess.

Good job on these, you got some skillz there but here are my comments:

 

 

 

For one i dont like the fact its a multi-color rainbowish kind of style- yet you did make it look nice, and most people dont- thats purely personal preferrance. Though the reason im struggling a little to like them is because you have this multi color background and then a completely different colored charachter out in front, it gives me the feeling that the background is some sort of template you could put any image over and it wouldnt change it. What i like to see is signatures that turn the picture into a part of it rather than something on its exterior, it kind of makes the sig seem more of your own and natural rather than a quick google search.

 

 

 

Thats all i have to say. Again, good job, stray away from exterior pictures if you feel necessary.
