June 2, 200620 yr heh, i liked the tv shows. that is, until i saw everyone of them 5 times. and the newer ones arent as good. havent seen the movie yet.
June 2, 200620 yr They're funny, it's one of the few things that are 'kiddy' but can actually make anyone of any age laugh. Just a few days ago, I saw the pirate episode where he was trying to scare people and was teaching Patrick and Spongebob on how to scare other people (fishes?). June 2, 200620 yr Don't like it. Can't stand the animation. And I have a problem with people over 10 years old wearing Spongebob T-shirts and backpacks as well. I hate that 'alternative' like attitude "Spongebob is t3h cool, hahah, look at me, I'm 17 years old and I love spongebob! I'm actually ashamed that I'm wearing this, but I don't know how to act normally, so I'll just make fun of myself everybody will think it's a joke", pathetic attentionseekers. It makes me grumpy, as you may notice from this reply. June 3, 200620 yr I watched Spongebob Movie like 1 or 2 years back with my friends...It was pretty funny and has a great storyline. :wink:
June 3, 200620 yr Ug, my school went through a spongebob phase recently. It was the "cool" thing to do to watch Nickelodean, go see the movie and compare quotes from episodes. I have a tendency to shy away from that kinda craze naturally and i'm glad i did. It would be okay if it was a genuinely funny kids program that could be watched and was almost designed for older people, like the Simpsons (or maybe that's the reverse...hmm), but it really was just for pre-10 year olds. I couldn't believe all my friends were watching this and pretending it was good TV. I still tease them about it :P "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"
