Ok first off, I know how annoying these topics are, so please no flames about making my own decision. I have a very hard time deciding, and want some 'peer' input.

 

 

 

First off, are POH's worth it, I waited YEARS for them, they look very cool, but worth coming back for?

 

 

 

Wildy, how is it running, active with people?

 

 

 

Clans, still basically same clans with same people? Many new faces?

 

 

 

Any other factors that may have changed would be nice to hear about to make my decision, I would just come back and try it all myself, but even though it's 5$, I would rather have imput before spending it.

Cash is no object for me, when I came back for slayer I raised 80mill and threw it into slayer, so that isn't a factor in my return. :P

If cash is no object then you REALLY should come back for the houses. They're awesome for those who can afford them.

dude that's an exaggeration i'd say more along the lines of 10 mil?for level 70? but im sure you could slim it drastically if you could be bothered to make your own planks...

If you're "over runescape", so to speak, don't come back. It's not worth getting hooked on it again.

 

 

 

POH- Not bad. Unless you have a fair bit of money stashed away in that old bank of yours, not worth it. If you read the forums, you'll have noticed everyone talking about what a money drain it is. So yeah, unless you've kept a rare hidden away just incase, don't un-retire.

 

 

 

The Wilderness- I don't know how long you've been away for, but the P2P wilderness is a completely different scene. Pures are everywhere these days. Oh, and they're in love with the Dragon Dagger Special. Watch out for that bad boy if you like pay to play pking. New type of magicks aswell, Ancient Magicks. The best of which being "Ice Barrage", which inficts high damage, hits multiple targets while freezing them too. Yeah, if you're wearing full rune and get hit by that, you're gonna get served. Oh, they're alot of "Pile Jumpers" too. So even if you do manage to get a kill, you'll die anyway. :wink: Go look in the Graveyard and download some vids if you want more info.

 

 

 

The Clans- Same old, same old really. DS beat DI and claim Rank 1 clan. :o DI own at the mage bank. Heh, as i write this some guy is spamming about DI members crashing mini-wars on purpose. :roll:

the wildy has changed a lot since the past, new places to tele port have been added, the level 40+ wildy has been redisgned.

 

 

 

POH are a good factor to the game, but it is only recommended if you have loads and loads of mates(i.e.clans)

 

 

 

clans are still the same, nothing new has yet been released, so i think that is your decision

To all his own, he may have used a faster more expensive method, or spent a lot on random items, or even just exxagerated to make it seem like more of an accomplishment.

Runescape is still Runescape. If you liked it before, it would be safe to say you'd like it again.

 

 

 

Pures: mostly they get to about lvl 60 max then the person realises how bad and boring they are with 1 def and gives up. High lvl wild they get owned anyway.

 

 

 

Houses: the better rooms in them can help you A LOT, eg. portals that can tele you outside canafis bank, which means you do barrows, tele to house, pray in your house, then tele straight to canafis.

 

 

 

So I say Runescape is still good, I'm guessing you quit because you needed a break? If so for sure come back.

You could get to 70 with 10k oak logs and if you cut them yourself it will only cost 2.5m to get them into planks...

This guy honestly doesnt know what he is talking about. It cost me 10m to get to 74. It gets expensive the high levels but its a really awesome thing having a cool house. Jagex will soon update the space amount for haouses (at the moment its very very small) and we'll be able to create some very awesome dungeons and throw some very awesom parties. To me, they are awesome.

after that, play with your house andsee how its then go from their

ite you wnat the truth? come back for a month...you have the cash so you can probably get 99 construction with only paying $5 then at the end of the month unsubscribe...construction isnt that great :?
