I know randoms are well 'random'. But the latest evidence has shown randoms aren't as random as we think.

 

 

 

The mime random has forever puzzled me. I have never recieved this random, but have recieved all the others. I made a conclusion that maybe only high levels could get this random. Then I found my level 95 friend who has full mime, yet my level 90 friend, who has gotten full camo, zombie and that German clothing, has never once recieved the mime random.

 

 

 

I see many 100's wearing full Mime. Is there a certain place to get this random. Like burying bones in the wilderness will get you the zombie random, is this the same?

 

 

 

It has forever bothered me, so I'm seeking an answer at last.

um high levels normally have more rnadom clothes because they have been playing rs longer

I'm combat 86, i have full camo and doesn't have any mime and zombie. I think full camo is getting more common.

level 59 stats in sig., only events that were good ever were zombie, 5 times, and freaky forester 1 time, nothing else. I think that just sucks :wall:

u don't hav to be high level to get mime stuff,i've seen 3 level 3 people with full mime

Whats up with people saying to get zombie ya bury bones in the wild? I have full zombie and emotes and I just buried bones from chickens at chicken coop. You don't have to go into the wildy for it.

i got full mime when i was lvl 30 something and two emotes glass box and climb rope.. i am know lvl 91 and i have yet to have another mime. :-k

2nd mime: glove and boots

 

3rd mime: pants and shirt

 

4th mime: glass wall

 

5th mime: climb rope

I've gotten 4 mimes- I'm level 37 combat

i havent gotten it in a long time also, i have the top and mask and had the boots but accidentally dropped it today coz of the new boots lol (i thought i had leather ones on and didnt check coz i was too excited with all the new colors) man am i angry at myself :wall: . but the mime random event still exists right?

just got lean today, and im done with the mime!

First bold: Not quite, there are so many low lvls with full mime because a lot of time they either are, or act as an, autoer, which is the usual cause of a random, to distinguishan autoer. A lot of high lvls have a lot of these random cloths because they have played for so long and have hence had longer to collect them.

 

Second bold: Where did you hear this one?!? You can get that anywhere...

my lvl 3 mining pure thats about 2 weeks old got lean while my main has never gotten a mime, forester or evil bob (or zombie).

I got the mime one time in my nearly two years of playing. I was in the volcano on karamja killing deadly red spiders when I got it. Got the top and the boots and haven't gotten a mime since lol

Randoms, are like they say... Well, random. Many people have said they have found out "secrets" to getting randoms.. There truely is no secret. If you noticed, you usually get randoms at the start of a skill your training.

 

 

 

Such as, cooking lobbies in catherby. Withdraw the lobs from the bank, and go and use the lob on the range. Usually at that point, you get a random if it is your time to get one.

 

 

 

I've noticed that if you keep using the lobster on the range without cooking, you will eventually get a random. But, eventually can be a long time. And there is no way to determine the type of random you will get. So just keep training a skill and you will get randoms if your there long enough.

 

 

 

NOTE: maybe the reason higher levels have more randoms is because of just that.. They have worked in single skills more than more people. Redoing a skill over and over again:P
