in each server, there is only one varrock. only one faldor, only one wilderness.

People are constantly getting randoms, and I'm going to guess that sometimes we get randoms while someone is already doing that random and it gets canceled out.

 

 

 

SO, to heighten our chances of receiving these randoms all we have to do is.. go to the world with the least amount of players, and that should increase your chances by alot.

 

 

 

if you where first on world 1 -2000 players

 

then went to world 59 - 1000 players

 

 

 

your chances of certain randoms would double because there arent as many people already doing that random.

what all of u say is true but the thing is that the less people in the world the less people sharing that random so one could say that a world with less people is a world with better chances of random.

thats false :P ive done maze with 3 other people and drill demon with another person

i got evil bob, and i was popping balloons for the keys and there was another player doing the same

me and my friend got mime at the same time once

i doubt so that this is proven.... cause if not y would jagex call it random events.... :

about your theory on other people rnt doing the same eent as u at the same time on the same server, this isnt true. earlier today, when i got telported by evil bob to the prison, i saw like 4 other ppl doing the same one. they were all noobs, but yea.

Ya when I got Freaky Forester, both times I was doing things that require a lot of clicking in the same place and I wasn't talking. I was also in world 2 for the first time and world 1 then second time.

I believe the chances of a random event happening are affected by the amount of people on the given server; it goes up and down depending on how many people are on that server.

 

 

 

In fact I'd venture to guess that your chances may be better on a larger server. Just speculation though - like this entire thread

ive had telematrix with about 5 people, bobs island with 2 people, freakyforester with 1 other person and the bone dude with 4 other people. nice try.

I was at mime stage when someone else came in so you can have more then 1 person doing the random at once.

But actually your chance is bigger for random in a world with less players, Jagex sends out random (for the most) people that acts like autoers, if it is on a world with 2000 on, the chance is smaller to get a random because they have more people to look at

Well, funny you said that... Just recently ive got (for the second time in more than a year of RS play) the mime event... And while i was there... Another player showed up!

 

Also, when i was at the demonic army event, there were some other folks doing training there too.

 

So i think your theory is wrong, if its based on the idea that only one player goes to event special area at time.

 

 

 

Ill tell what works for mwe: whenever i stay for long periods of time in the same area, i get lots of events. This worked for me while i was killing hobgoblins, fishing swordies in karamja docks and more recently, mining iron at hill giants cave (the area with skels). About this last one i've noticed that even when i go back to bank (varrock) and then return to mining site, i still keep getting lots of events (from swarms to evil twin sister), during all the time i'm mining.

It may give you a higher chance of getting a random if u log onto a world with less people but keep in mind that Jagex main aim of randoms was to detect and stop autoers :wink:
