Has anyone heard of this? I saw this yesterday and thought it was pretty awesome, it's basically a place where works of literature that has been release into the public domain(according to US copyright law) are available in electronic form for free.

It's a bit of a pain to listen through all of those isn't it?

Imho, I'd rather have the e-books where you read it on the computer.

yep, ive heard of it :D . i downloaded a dvd image of 9418 of the "best" books, it was about 4 gigs worth. its only about half of what they have available right now, and they are actually planning on joining another free ebook company and almost tripling their size. ill see if i can find the article about it.

EDIT: this is what i was thinking of. 300,000 ebooks available, for free, from july4th to august 4th  .
