June 19, 200620 yr EDIT: WOOOOOT FIRE CAPE! I've decided it's time for me to get the legendary fire cape and I decided to write a blog about for people's enjoyment and to vent my frustration. Attempt 1: Did well except my Guthan would not heal me on the 180's so I use a few doses of Sara Brew... boyyy was that a mistake! I get to Jad with plenty of pray pots left but I hit the wrong prayer to start and he hits me for a 54 #-o So I drank the last of my sara brews and mis prayed... AGAIN :oops: Got hit a 45 and was down to 15 hp without any Sara Brews I get the 108s on me and they're in a line and steel skin is on... My prayer runs out and he hits a 10 on me so I'm down to 5 hp. One of the 108's hits a 4 on me and Jad is down to about 20 hp. Right when I think I've won a 180 hits a 1 on me :cry: Attempt 2: Get to the 180's and decide I don't have time to finish and get myself killed. Attempt 3: Get all the way to Jad perfectly with only drinking one sara brew and I get all the 108's on me and think I have this fire cape easy. I click to pot my prayer and click to switch prayer but my guy doesn't switch he's still drinking the pot. BAM 65! I quickly drink sara brews and restore pots while switching prayer but not quick enough. All 4 108's are around me so I get hit for multiple 10-20's and die. Attempt 4: I get in there and everything goes perfect, only dropped below 10hp once because I decided to range the 180's get to the 702, I pray right the first time and switch, pot, get the 108's all perfect, I mis click prayer once and got hit a 41 and got to abou 10hp but I recovered slowly but surely. I was thinking "Why can't he just die already?" and suddenly I hear this weird noise and realize he's dead. I get outside and expect the guy to tell me congratz or something and hand me the cape but he doesnt and I run around frantically thinking it glitched and I didn't get it. I then click to my inventory and see this little orange blob and start shaking and Pm'ing all my friends and didn't even put it on till 5 mins later. Thanks for reading ~Bird [spoiler=Levels]

June 19, 200620 yr Nice story :P I tried for my first time yesterday. Had not really a clue what I was doing and my 6 sharks (yes sharks) were gone by the first few 360's. I totally red-barred TWICE and with luck and Guthans and I was back on my feet. When I went to kill Jad - I was already on 40hp. Oh well. Went in and went well until I muddled up prayers and got hit for like 44. And my invent was like karils and mostly prayer pots and sharks - i should try sara brews/ range pots.

June 19, 200620 yr Its worth it, btw, there level 108, not 180 ( I'm talkin healers ) All Quests completed99 Thieving achieved on January 10th, 200899 Defense achieved on August 3rd, 200885 Slayer achieved on July 31st, 20086 Dragon boot drops, 14 Whip drops

June 19, 200620 yr Yeah but Super Restores are a pain to get from agility course lol, took me 30 mins for 3 I may end up buying them and going broke for this cape :shock: Grow snapdragon seeds. If you plant them in all the different herb patches, that's probably about 30 snapdragons or more after they're grown. (with super compost, anyway) My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race.However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.

(with super compost, anyway) But the seeds are expensive and still a percentage will die (I once had a round of farming where 3 out of 4 rannar seeds died :cry: ). I hate to spend money on something to have it just die and I'm certainly not going to stand next to the patch alching for 70 minutes. Haven't played RuneScape since 12 january 2007 and it feels great :)

Got muddled by drinking pots and changing prayer :$ have you tried using sound to help you switch prayer efficiently. his differrent attacks have different sounds (on high detail anyway) so that may help you become more successful :P
June 19, 200620 yr Im kinda confused in the 1st attmept you say that you had both jad and 180's in the same round? because it sounded like you were taking danmge by both no one gets it on the 1st try good luck next time (im planning to get one too) ill just check on this to see for and tips edit: i think you mean the healers lvl 108?

And lmao, I died again :P Find that really frustrating lol. I put the right prayer but to slow, and got hit badly. Oh well, back I go, hopefully this time i'm a bit quicker.
