June 25, 200620 yr Author Yea, but after you complete it, you'll up like 10 combat levels I calculated it, if you were lvl 3 combat it would take you to lvl 21 combat.
June 25, 200620 yr Author lowest combat lvl? i had a lvl 7 who did it. Can you tell me your strategy? I was thinking about using cannon and hiding behind something if you could run and hide. But I don't know if cannon even works. What were your stats on the lvl 7?
June 25, 200620 yr I did it with 1 def, and it put my def up to 33 or something like that. It was hard as hell though. I actually had to kill her most of the way, tele, bank for more food, then go back and finish her off. (By the way, Elvarg is most definitely a SHE). My greatest ambition is to kill every member of the human race.However I am a realist and therefore know that I probably wont be able to.

June 25, 200620 yr i dont get the point in doing dragon slayer at the lowest possible lvl, isnt the main goal to get tha ability to wear rune plate, whats the point in doing it if u can even wear rune, the exp boost? pointless. i did dragon slayer in F2P with full addy and combat 48, and killed elvarg with my inventory filled with only tuna's. about 5 tuna's even remained.

It's just something I want to do, there doesn't have to be a point, and if you do dragon slayer at lvl 3, it will take you to lvl 21, and then from there you can raise def from 33 to 40 and be under lvl 30 with rune plate. It's nothing really big or worth doing in your opinion but i want to do it.

Combat level does matter, I think cannon is possible. But remember, NPCs KNOWS what person owns the cannon and attacks that person. I never will have a cannon but I saw NPCs attacking someone not attacking an enemy while getting hit by cannonball so it's pretty obvious. Anti-Dragon potion isn't needed, he is even easier than blue dragons. I only had to use 3 sharks during the quest. (that was the F2P only quest I did as a member) Off-Topic: Is it possible to wear a Zamorak PlateBody BEFORE doing the quest?

Melzar's Maze is part of the quest. And there are lesser demons you MUST kill to get key.
June 26, 200620 yr Elvarg shouldn't be a problem, get a lvl 3-10 through the Maze >_> + lesser .. Btw don't see a point of having sharks - you don't have that many hps ;$
