A time for switching characters

Featured Replies

Jagex makes it so that you have to wait 45 seconds to change world. I think this should also apply to characters, as this would help stop drop trading, as by the time you got there, the item will have (hopefully) be taken or dissapeared. It wouldn't be that hard to implement, I don't think, and it wouldn't cause a problem for all the honest, hardworking players, unless waiting less then a minute is a problem.

nah its already annoing having to wait for the time to go down when changing world especially when you are pking.

A friend to all is a friend to none.

Actually that does sound like a good idea to me. :)

Since Drop Trading is meant to be against the rules, then this new idea would not affect any people without multiple accounts. If you do, then; well you are a rule-breaker.

Why do you resist? My experiments are only helping humanity push the boundaries of the Art of Toxicology... you should be proud to be one of my victims.

hopping worlds to buy runes, and other stuff it does get a little annoying waiting for the 30 secs or so to pass

Sine changing worlds with 1 account already has a time limit there's no need to complain about it here, this will not effect it at all. As for multiple accounts, I like the idea, it would kill drop trading and would prevent those millionaire level 3's with skills all at 1.

i thin it is a good idea but it would be better if it only does this while changing characters and for 2 mins because takes 1 min to appear to public then i think 1 min to dissappear :)

Yeah, I was just thinking "Well, it takes longer than forty five seconds for an item to appear does it not?"

I think this is a great idea. For those who complain about having to wait so long, think about it, it's not THAT bad and it helps stop alot of cheaters.

drop trading cost more then 3min... and if i need to wait 3min b4 i can check another acc... it sould be pretty annoing... i needed to check about 10 accs to find my nails when poh came out... i knowed i had them... and found them within 10min... it would take me 45min+ to find it with 3min change time...

Ok toxic I may have misunderstood, but you made it seem as if multiple accounts were against the rules, when in fact it is completely legal.

Drop-trading and multiple logging are against the rules.

and jwrm having 10 accounts is absolutly ridiculous...

ON-TOPIC: I fully suppport this tweek as a means of deterring the aforementioned, and loathed, lvl 3 no-stat millionaires.
