i recommend you work with steel...if you're f2p, bars can sell for 600 gp each, and if you're p2p, you can make the bars into cannonballs which sell for 200 gp each (thats 800 per bar)

or maybe you could try makin iron knives...im not p2p so i cant really offer much insight on the cash benefits, but a lot of members seem to like makin iron knives to gain smithin levels

if you are p2p, do family crest and between a rock. choose goldsmihting gauntlets from family crest and use the between a rock gold mine to get loads of gold fast, then smelt all in port pharysmatis (nearest furnace to bank)

if f2p, mine lots of iron, and then make stuff..

Back by popular demand!

And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all.

You already have 40 smithing......

ROFL.. #-o

See that 3 followed by a 6? That means 36, 40 would be a 4 followed by a 0 \'

ONTOPIC: Buy coal and iron, smelt steel and sell bars. Quite a good money maker for f2p in its own right, good xp too. Good luck! \' <--love that smiley lol \'

Since you are over level 30, you can smelt and smith steel.

So, just do that.

Steel is popular because the supplies are easily gathered or bought and

because you can make decent money from the bars or smithed products.

From your stats it looks like you are F2P.

If you were a member then I would say go get a members ruby ring of forging and do iron.

Otherwise mine/buy 2 coal for every 1 iron ore and smelt steel bars in the Al-kharid furnace using the nearby bank.

To go from level 36 to 40 requires, at most, 226 steel bars used.

(226 iron with 452 coal)

After you have your 226 steel bars then go to the Varrock west anvils just south of the west bank.

Smith your steel bars there.

You will always get the same amount of exp per bar used so the only

reason to make different products is to be able to get a slightly higher

price for them when selling them.

You can sell them to the general store (yuck), other players, or to specialty shops.

Specialty shops exist for Plate armor (Varrock), swords (Varrock),

legs (Al-Kharid), Maces (Fally), Chain (Fally), Scimitars (Al-Kharid),

Shields (Fally), Helmets (Barb Village), Baxe (Port Sarim), etc.

Eventually, you will want to make only Steel plate and then Hi-alch it for direct cash.

Hope this helps.

u forgot the one in bandit camp in lvl 22 wild

this one is the best cause udont have to go to like 50 dif shops

it buys all items for specialty prices
