Anyway, I guess I got tired of RPGs after playing Silkroad. :| Same. Silkroad (the grind mainly) put me off RPG's and i haven't been bothered with them since. But i supose it is quite exciting at the start, and the build's were quite interesting.
July 14, 200619 yr It looks all pretty and it has a nice background, but the gameplay itself is far worse than Runescape. All you do is kill stuff. There are only two kinds of quests: Kill a certain amount of monster X or Collect a certain amount of an item that monster X occasionally drops. Once you get past the "oooh, pretty..." phase, it gets boring pretty fast. July 16, 200619 yr I played for about three hours and that was all I could take. Graphics are good and I heard the world, which I did not explore very much of, is enormous. 4388 to 99 cooking
July 17, 200619 yr Graphics are great in Silk Road, but the lag is enormous (I was playing on my college connection). The worlds are too big and it takes way too long to get from place to place. I quit after.. 2 hours or so. :x ==================================Retired tip.it moderator.Teaching and inspiring.
July 17, 200619 yr They seemed to mostly fix the lag now, and most connection issues are gone in newer servers Theres still a big botter problem though Retired from runescape(Banned for bug abusing)
