Random Events.

now, okay. randoms are slightly annoying. but some can be good, genies and such. some, dangerous as you know.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

but im curious, are the new random events killing the old randoms?

 

 

 

 

 

today, amazingly. i have a mime and a maze, the mime is my first in 6months and the maze. well nearly the same time span. i havent had a genie in about 3 weeks.

 

 

 

 

 

but where have they gone? AM I the only one who misses the orininal randoms? i liked the randoms we had about a year ago.

 

 

 

 

 

attackable swarms... genies galore. mimes occasionally and mazes monthly. strange box's daily. and river trolls and golems almost any time you did the represented skill.

 

 

 

 

 

im afraid, i wont ever get my last mime emote. glass box, i used to have a full mime set. i dropped it long ago, not realizing i needed the clothing to get the last random, i was low on bank space to. now, i wonder if i am doomed to an eternity without being able to get stuck in a glass box.

 

 

 

 

 

would the tip.it community like to see a BIG come back of the old randoms? instead of pointless 1's of kissing a frog?

i havent got mime or maze for ages 2..but all the rest i have got a far bit..so maybe old ones are harder to get..

and i completley under stand randoms are for autoers and to break up the boredum. but cmon, ill take 10 frogs a day for 1 mime.

lol yea..i get frogs and boxes all the time..it anoyy's me sometimes.. :wall: but they should make the old good ones like genie and mime and maze more popular to get becouse they were fun..not like the kissing a frog or getting a box..i mean whats the point in doing a random event unless its something what u can waste ur time on...lol

True, I loved the older randoms. Randoms these days are jsut annoying like the Monk, Leo the gravedigger, Pinball, The Evil Chicken, etc.

 

 

 

Delete them and bring in fun randoms!

I have never had a maze in 2 years, is that a record?

 

But I sometimes enjoy new randoms, like Leo but thats because of the emotes and clothing but some like evil bob and the evil sister are bad. You dont even get anything from them that is worthwhile, like clothing.

Mimes have only been out for 2 years... Infact, like 4 days less than 2 years...

 

 

 

2 August 2004 - New Random Events! Next

 

Players may be thrilled to witness the addition of new random events today. The events you may come across in your usual routine of playing are as follows;

 

 

 

Maze

 

You might get teleported into a magical maze by some mysterious old man, but don't worry. Find the centre and you'll be released, along with a reward. The quicker you manage it, the bigger your reward! You will then be put back where you came from.

 

 

 

Strange Box

 

If you're given a Strange Box by a mysterious old man, open it and answer the easy question to receive a reward. Be warned though; if you spend too long without opening a box, or get a question wrong, they will start replicating in your inventory, so you will have more boxes to solve. You will only get a reward when you have cleared your inventory of boxes. The only way to remove a box from your inventory is to answer the question.

 

 

 

Mime

 

There's a mystical theatre hidden away which you may get teleported to. (Coincidentally enough, by an old and mysterious man). All you have to do is follow the Mime's performance by repeating his actions and you'll be released back to where you were previously along with a reward.

 

 

 

Note: If any mysterious old men teleport you to the maze or the mime they will do it immediately. If they instead stand there shouting your name, you should respond like normal. Ignoring old men in the hopes they will teleport you to a maze will not work.

 

 

 

 

So playing for 4 years means nothing when Mimes have only been around for two...

I've had 2 mazes the day before yesterday, and 1 yesterday :shock: But I was very surprised to see them, I hadn't had one in ages either.

2 mimes in 20 minutes here :) to bad i had the full set and moves n stuff,same happend to seargant damien.i still get genies and old men and stuff ocasionally,so i suppose it is and stays all random :)
