Spenjoman
What do you think of adult runescape players? Recently I noticed lots of adults playing runescape and I would like to hear the opinion of the community about them. - My Opinion; I think it's ok that adults play it because it's something entertaining but people don't need to get addicted to it like some adults are. It's good to see adults still have the feeling like they are children but even though they play runescape in a different way then younger people like I do. They play it more respectfull and therefor you mostly see adult player moderators. It's good to see that the society today has a little bit of greyish in it and also respectfull people. nomader
I see no problem as to an adult playing runescape. As long as you are enjoying yourself it doesn't matter what age you are. The only problem I ever have, is with someone with too much immaturity ruining the game.
Bubsa
I don't think anything of it. What's there to think about? Seems normal to me. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.
Fleetcom
I don't know it just kind of seems wierd to me a little to me. Does it not make sense when you are 30+ and your friend asks you to go play pool and you say I can't, I have a clan war today? i'm sure people want to flame my post for some reason, but thats life i guess? No it isn't life *hopes people look outside the window,* go "flame" people out there, you get a nice supprise :XD: < like no teeth.
ishepp
I prefer adult players to the young kids, on average. They actually show some respect, and can have just as much fun. Its interesting to note that most of the people on the highscores are probably adults too. And anyone who thinks that being over a certain age shouldn't play, is narrow minded. 89/99 farming
Copper_River
Hey, I'm 27, I own my home, I'm married, and I have a 1 year old son. Just because I don't have much time for games anymore doesn't mean I don't still enjoy them. I grew up on Atari and Nintendo, I'm the video game generation. kuud
omg adults play runescape!!!!!! its no big deal there is no age limit, its 13 years and up. there is nothing on the runescape site that says runescape is for kids only, and the makers of the game are adults and they play runescape to. I'm not trying to be disrespectful, but I find that comment very unfair and judgemental. I'm 25. I'm married, with two children. My husband and I both work full time in addition to caring for our kids and home. We*NEED* to be able to escape from "the real world" just like everyone else. That means--at least for me-- I spend some of my "spare" time playing RS. I play, and when I log off, I'm done. I don't think about it all the time, in fact, when I log back in, it usually takes me a minute to figure out what the heck I was doing last time. No one, kids, teens, OR adults who play, needs to be thinking about the game all the time. EVERYONE has other things to worry about besides the game. It's unfair to say that because someone is an adult or has children they shouldn't play because they have other things they should be thinking about. drgnrider
i see nothing wrong with adults playing if they can also have a normal life. If an adult spent their off time reading would it be more ok then spending their off time on the computer playing games? This also doesnt mean runescape is one of their top priorities. Im sure an adults child is more important than full Dragon. I bet they would go to the pool instead of the clan war as well.

There's nothing respectful in playing runescape. Like it's hard to click the same thing over and over until you get some number rising up and calling it statistics. Stop giving yourself illusions. A 13 year old is on the same grounds as a 40 year old in my view.

Respect in the community means not being some loudmouth kid that goes around screaming, "OMGODS UR SO NOOBISH AND UR ADAMNT PL8! MY LVL 130 HAS FULL DRAGONITE ARMRZ." 00 Quanta
I'm 24 years old, most of my friends in Rs that are younger than me still act mature like an adult. You don't need to know how old they are, its just how mature they act

Mirror
I may not fit with the adults or the young 13 age but I would care less. When I play I dont think age, I just play the game. Yes some people act more mature than others and yes adults are usually the ones that are more mature. But there is no way in telling who is who and what age so just move on. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind.

Those people are considered respected and successful in OUR society. Believe it or not outside that dark little computer room of yours there is a world, and the world is a nasty little place full of degenerates and imbeciles such as yourself. Then again the world is also a beautiful and fantastic place, but you'll never find that out by mindlessly clicking pixels. You just don't realise it, it's all just a big 'get rich quick' scheme in the end, wether you choose to believe it or not. Life is a terrible thing to waste, and you're the example. This is so sad it's funny. I can go into a whole diatribe on your misconceptions about life, but I'll spare you. Let me just say this: People will set their priorities and do what they enjoy doing. If it's playing pool in a bar, climbing mountains, go-cart racing, or whatever, it's their choice. Those of us who play Runescape do so because we enjoy playing Runescape. There's no pathology involved. Also, how would you know how wealthy people are who play? Are you sure there aren't any millionaires playing RS? I haven't exactly gone and done a survey, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are a few. As for who people in society respect - respect is earned through people's actions, not by their possessions. If one's actions earn him both respect and money, then more power to him, but they don't go hand-in-hand. - Sligo I know that you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize tht what you heard is not what I meant.
