August 1, 200619 yr Mage Protect does nothing against the KBD, it's pretty pointless. I'd rather go with a friend, can kill 10+ a trip and use less resources per KBD. It's also better to bring initiate for prayer to last longer.

August 1, 200619 yr Author K, some people are missing the point, u have to pray "melee" the mage def bonus make his poison and ice breath attacks hit 0 often, u can try initiate but i doubt it will help. August 2, 200619 yr Okay, I tried solo'ing him this way. And 15 per trip is ridiculous. Granted, its a nice process, and it works pretty well, but at level 124, with all of the very best magic defense equipment in the game and 95 mage, I was only able to kill 3 per trip. Yes, 3 per trip solo. KBD's defense is sick, and takes alot of zeros to hit him. The ice breaths and blue fire thingies hit pretty consistant 7's. I used 5-8 shark per kill, not 2. And the guide says it uses 40 prayer points per kill, but only takes 2 pray pots. That doesn't add up to 15 kills. I'd love to put this in the Archive of Wisdom, but it needs to be more accurate first, or a video proving its boast. I did enjoy using the ancient tele to the ice hills that brings you right 2 clicks away from the gate. Tele, fight, house tablet, recharge, glory to edge, restock, tele. You can do a lot of trips that way. 96 mage needed for that tele spell. Mind bombs ftw. :) Went with N64jive as a pair, and we did pretty good. 6 or 7 per trip. No head yet. August 2, 200619 yr Author Im uploading a vid atm of me killing 1 kbd. A whole trip would be 2 long and take very long to upload and download. On that trip i had 14 monkfish and i got 2 and a half kills. I used 6 monkfish on the first kill, 5 on the 2nd, and i had to tele out on the 3rd. It takes around 4 or 5 sharks per kill so with the original set up (20 sharks) i get 4 or 5 kills. August 2, 200619 yr MAJOR TIP! If you go to your stats, and click on say attack and look at the level requirements, your super set stats don't go down. Also, if you have your prayers up, they don't go down. But if you move or get attacked with a stat screen up, then it doesn't work anymore. 99 Crafting Blog

August 2, 200619 yr umm, i tried that, used sharks, and i could bearly kill 2 of them per trip. i'm 114 combat, 94 att, 93 def, and 92 str and 94 mage. what did i do wrong? i used the inventory that you said, did it the way you said too, and i could bearly kill 2 of them. it only took olike 3 sharks to kill the first one, but then it took the rest of my 17 sahrks on the last one. what can i do to get more kills?
