August 2, 200619 yr So im sitting here playing san andreas using the jetpack cheat and wondering how cool that would be in real life. How come noone invented a jetpack yet? Why cant people buy em. :?: :?: :-k :-k :-k I WANT MY JETPACK!! :( :(

August 2, 200619 yr Didn't Puff Diddly arrive to some awards thing using one? Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.
August 2, 200619 yr Didn't Puff Diddly arrive to some awards thing using one? Without wires or something? I would doubt it. They tried to make them work all through-out the earlier and mid 1900's, but they just couldn't make it worth it. August 2, 200619 yr I played on Jetpac once before :D Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Oh no they certainly work, they're just very dangerous. Just look at the wikipedia page. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.
August 2, 200619 yr Yea, they work. I've seen videos of guys flying on them...Although not very high nor fast. :P They just could never make them worth making. The popularity of any given religion today depends on the victories of the wars they fought in the past. - Me!

August 2, 200619 yr Gravity is too high on earth to make them a feasable way of travel. Too much fuel would be used to lift and move a person. August 2, 200619 yr How lazy can you get? I'm not posting the wikipedia link just on principle. If you can't be bothered to go to the site and type the word in then you obviously don't deserve to see it. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

August 2, 200619 yr The problem with them lies not in their cost (though it is high), but in the fact that the fuel recquired is too great. Jetpacks have been built. The most successful one could only fly for around 17 seconds though, with the ammount of fuel it could feasibly carry. Real "jet"packs will never exist, unless we get into antimatter... but that's such a long way off something better will come in the meantime. Odds are personal lift vehicles would be powered by some sort of anti-gravity device, if anything, not by rockets or jets..
August 2, 200619 yr I wouldn't ride one if I had the chance. I tend not to like things that have a high risk of breaking my limbs :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
August 2, 200619 yr they do work...its pressurised gas that when it hits the floor it makes u float if the force it makes is high enough they are actually really old there's one in thunderball, the james bond movie made in the 60's Sig by me....
August 2, 200619 yr they do work...its pressurised gas that when it hits the floor it makes u float It isn't when it hits the floor, it is when it exits the jetpack - otherwise they wouldn't be able to go more than a few feet above ground... P.S. - learn to use punctuation. Some people are changed by being a moderator. I wouldn't be.

August 2, 200619 yr In order to run a jetpack you would need smaller versions of rocket engines that still contained most of the power and u would need rocket fuel as fuel. Denizen of Darkness| PSN= sworddude198
