I want to try to make a tile look good, no matter what people say. any ideas for how the green [i mean the really dark area] area under the rocks could be made to look like some kind of hill? I'd really like to see what despaxes and others imagined as filling in that area.

this time its completly my own.... on the upper right square i did, i didnt use many pixels i just blended the colors very carefully lol... hope thats alright

How I picture the hidden squares:

 

Top right: Ends of branches with leaves from an offscreen tree.

 

 

 

Bottom left: Grass from a hill leading up to the Waterfall.

 

 

 

Middle top: more tree. ^_^

 

I'll lend the sky colours a bit as I can see some clear lines, and I think I did a pretty good job with blending them last time. =P

 

 

 

The cloud directly below the birds has a highlight on its top, although the sun wouldn't create that big a highlight (should be shorter in other words)

 

 

 

Tree trunk still too thick to me.

 

 

 

Flowers look a little too colourful and monotone? They seem to stand out too much and only look like 1 colour.

 

 

 

Think that's it from all my pickiness.

add more leaves in the tree to get rid of the trunk looking big...

Kinda like what I was imagining, Good job nonetheless bee, though take away that pointy rock in the grass. Doesn't fit.

i also did the square on the right in the uper left hand corner, that leaves 2 left if you like ti =)

+dithered the sky a little more

why not? my name is on the tree (started to etch in my gfs name too lol... ran outta room((hehehe :anxious: :-$ ))he worked on the sky so let him write his name lol.... whatever (i noticed it too, my sky was right next to his)
