Hah, I could never get past the third boss. The one in the forest. He kept kicking or throwing me off the side of the cliff thing.

Metal Gear Solid, the first one on the playstation

How could we forget. I really wish now I had kept it to preserve memories. Although, I am looking forward to the future for PSP. Most PS1 games are being converted to PSP-functional to download (for a price) and play.

For that i'll be getting that and FF7. =P~

Have you played it resently? is it worth going back in time for another loom experience?

I started (and completed) it again yesterday. It's very very short, but great. I've just started Monkey Island 1 again now.

Amen brother. I love the taunts in that game. "Do you still wear diapers?" "Why do you want to borrow one?"

HAHA man... Does it take much time to get them working on xp?

Very, very easy. If you've got the original games then I think you can run them through an interpreter called ScummVM, which has the benefit of being multiplatform.

I got past the dragon were you have to change the gold too straw. But I didn't write any of the drafts down. I tried to use my orcarina skills and just remember them all. But when I got past the dragon I couldn't remember the darkness too light draft. The drafts are really easy to remember.

I havn't played this game in 10 years. But I remember every single detail!! Everything! Every character comes flying back to me as if I just saw them in the pub yesturday. k-k-k-krazy.

lol not everyone has exactly seen this topic yet ^^^.

My favorite classic would probaly have to be Chrono Trigger, man did I love that game. However, I sadly only had played that like 5-6 years ago.

As far as older games, I loved the origional Doom, Decent and a lot of the other cheepo FPS's that game out for PC many years ago. I remember my uncle got me Doom (and decent too) when I was 8 :D , had a lot of fun with that game. Hell, sometimes I'll still pop in ultimate doom for some classic FPS'ing.

As far as consoles go, I have some fond memorys of my NES/ Sega Saturn games. I remember Robo Pit for Sega saturn (I dont think anyone has heard of it :(). It was a fighting game where you built your own robot (very cartoony lol) and fought through like 100 levels of guys :D.

Also gotta love Die hard arcade, and a lot of the classics for NES. (Monster in My pocket, Super Mario 1,2,3, Legend of Zelda 1)

:D :D

Anyone else remember Duke Nukem? I remember playing it when i was around 7'ish. "Time to kick wagon and chew bubble gum... I'm all out of gum"

Maan, that game was great. I played that after Doom and Wolfenstein.

I can vividly remember the first level completely ^_^.

It was reaally sick for a game of its time. Naked ladies, blood and gore, oh my.

Pipe bombs still rule.

There were two Duke Nukem games prior to that, creatively named Duke Nukem and Duke Nukem 2.

Yeah I remember them 2D side-scrollers. Never bothered with them though.

At that age, it didn't appeal to me as much as 3D gut-splattering.

Still good though.

Ohhh yeah I remember that boss, he's kick you down the holes lol. I used to be able to get past that huge machine thing and into the place where ledges appear and disappear, and fire drops on your head. Aww I would love to play some of the other games on NES but my brother decided to see if a slice of toast would be a fun game to play #-o

^^^^ Perfect Dark is one of my favorite games of all time. I love how the story starts out as just a futuristic sci-fi fps and goes into crazy aliens. That is one of the few games that I've actually beaten everything in it (except for 2 challenges). I beat every level on Perfect Agent.

OOT is a great game but nowhere near as good as Majora's Mask.

What I liked better about it was the replay value (getting all the masks). The characters also seemed to have more depth than the ones from OOT. Also I just really liked turning into a goron and zora.
