Okay, I am addicted to barrows.... And as a long with every other addict I need something to fuel my addiction... So what do I do??? I farm.... And I usually pick my rannar weeds as soon as they are grown and only get like 4 or 5 rannars per seed.... But 3 days ago I planted a seed and couldn't get on for another 2 days... So when I picked the rannar I got 9 rannars!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

 

 

 

 

So, does anyone know if the longer you leave the herb out after it's ready to be picked will you always get more rannars?!?!?!?

no, its just random the amount of herbs that you get when you pick from a patch, but the minimum you can get with super compost is 5, and if you want to get lots more just get a pair or magic secaters from the quest, i once got 12 ranarrs from one patch with them equiped

lol i thought the same thing, i planted some ranarrs, and didnt come back for 2 days or so. When i picked them, i had 12 RANARR weeds, no lie. So i asked ppl around and they said it was totally random lol i just said oh well, im really lucky :XD:

Ive got 12 once, when I went to harvest my herbs.

 

 

 

The 2 other seeds got me normal amounts though

I've gotten 15 from a seed once or twice, my usual maximum is 12. 7,8 or 9 are common, 5 is minimum (with magic secateurs and super compost).

 

 

 

It's totally random how many you get and it doesn't depend at all on the time you leave it there, I always leave them about 2 hours (unless I can't get online, of course) and the ammounts vary a lot.

i dunno how it works but i kinda get more for the herbs tht r worth less

I've got 12 ranarrs a couple times aswell. When I do plant herbs i try to time the cycle pretty good so as soon as they're done, they're picked and a new round is planted. It sometimes works pretty good, but sometimes I plant half of them and go play a game of cw's or something and then the cycle is all messed up...
