wild_goat_14 Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 MOLE EVENT Hello to all who are reading this and welcome to the second Chaos Events Team's event.As you can probably already tell...we will be going to the mole.For those of you that have no clue what the mole is it is a level 230 monster that lives under Falidor(yes finally this is fali(inside joke)) DETAILS(READ THIS!!) TIME:5pm est, 4pm cst, 2pm pacific, 10pm gmt, 7am(sunday)act PLACE:TOAST647'S HOUSE IN RIMMINGTON WORLD 99 (Making sure every one get to the right place...lol). After the event time is here(try to be a few minutes early and bank BEFORE we go to falidor because as soon as we tele...we goin down to mole. WHAT TO BRING: If you are 43 prayer...bring something with a high pray bonus(like monks robes or even varacs)so your prayer wont run out for a while. Also bring a few lobbies and even super energy restores...and maybe pray pots. If you are below 43 prayer.....bring you best defence...ull need it.Be ready to get high and often. You will need lots of food(1 Bite..lobbies or higher) EVERYONE HAS to bring a candle or lantern...a tinderbox...and a spade. GETTING TO THE MOLE:When it is event time we will walk from Toast's house to fali east bank...where we would bank and go in fali park. When we are in fali park....stand on the mole hill...and dig your spade.you should drop into the mole's lair.We will all to go center of lair and wait for her. FIGHTING HER:Ok...so we are in the center and we see her.he first person to attack her MUST HAVE 43 PRAYER....unless you want to die because she can hit constant 21's.It will seem that this mole is easy.....until she drops below half hp.Then she will dig into the ground and reappear anywhere in her lair.When a group finds her they should all attack her and hope they can hit a lot before she digs.IF YOU KILL HER PM ME...so i can get the word across and everyoe goes back to the center and wait for her to spawn again. If you run out of food or prayer you can just bank....exit the lair in the southern exit and you will be by a well in south falidor.just go north on the road to the bank.then you can get more supplies and come back to help us kill more moles! well....thats about it...special thanks to Bobby1167 for letting us use his house.(sry you couldnt make it bobby but thanks for the offer...) I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. Mirror Posted August 20, 2006 Share Posted August 20, 2006 May I give some pointers on what to bring and what to do. Right now this seems unorganized, just hit and run tactic. Inventory: With 43 prayer: Wear Monk/Initiate armor for prayer bonus. You want the best prayer bonus you can get. That means prayer books, glory/ unholy symbol, and stuff like that. If you are praying there is no need for regular armor protection. Bring Prayer pots, not much on the food side but some if you mis-click. Have room for drops because you are the ones to most likely get them. Without 43 prayer: Wear the best defensive armor you got. The mole may go after you when she reapears from the ground, trust me it has happened to me. So bring food for yourself and for others that may get hit. Suggestions: 1. Do not use stat enhancement prayers. They do not do much except waste prayer points. You want to conserve your points for the mole. Pots on the other hand are your own choice whether to use. 2. Bullseye is recommended. Candle will go out if she flings mud on you. That gives the bugs the chance to kill you. 3. 3 Item rule applies. Even though you will rarely die to her, still not the team's fault or goal to get your items. 4. Always! use a DDS special on the mole. When she runs away poison will hurt her badly. Use the special until you see a green splash then switch to something with a better attack bonus. She has a high defense so go with a high attack option, rather than strength. 5. This one is for advance killers. Most of the time when you attack her after she runs, she will immediately run. If she is low enough on health, just let her die to poison. Alot easier on you, plus all the free time gives you energy back plus talking time. So dont attack when low. Those are some things that should help you. I probably wont be able to come because of technical difficulties with my payment option. A reflection is just a distorted reality held by glass and your mind. This is what I bring: Food is a waste of weight, as is armor.
