I made them for the exp. :D but looking at your mining level it doesn't look like you mined all the ores. I know i did and trust me ... It takes a while

August 21, 200619 yr The most i've smelted without smithing them is 29k Steel bars! I had 106k coal and 52k iron, i smelted 2k bars then smithed them but that got boring so i just started to smelt all the ores that was left.

August 21, 200619 yr Once I smelted 13k steel bars by using the furnace, I mined 26k coal by my own to get 85 mining, but i bought the iron ores. Anyway I smithed these bars into steel plates and high alchemed all the plates. :)
August 22, 200619 yr 2k steel bars....maybe twice or three times... i think this might be my third or fourth time doing this. geezuz mnh. how long did it take to get 26k coal? Retired from runescape. I will be on every now and then though. :)
August 22, 200619 yr 7.5k gold bars. i bought 7k of them to speed level my smithing with the gold smith gauntlets. Then I bought 7.5k saphs to make into rings to level my crafting, and 7.5k cosmics, to level my magic. Then I sold all the recoils and made a few million in the process...although the making of took quite a long time.

I've already smelted about 4k steel bars, but that's selling ever 1k because I can't afford a lot of ore. But right now I'm going for 70 smithing and I need to smelt 34k steel bars.
