Is fire making the most useless skill for f2p ?

On a remote f2p server, with no interaction with members, firemaking and woodcutting are both almost useless. At level 1, in most locations, the only use is to make a fire to cook food on. There is only the need for regular logs, so essentially, it would be worthwhile to level your wc and fm to the point where you only have to click once to obtain the resource or light the fire.

 

 

 

They are only useful for on islands and next to banks, where it either creates a temporary range, or creates a closer range.

Fishing useless in F2P? Lobsters sell for good money. (But are far away from bank) For low levels trout, salmon, pike, ... are great for food. And for yourself if you take some time Lobster and that highest fish (cant find name lol) are very good.

There's a members mini-game that requires lvl 80 firemaking to burn a certain shade. I'm 78, I'm close. \

Untrue, you can sell your fires if you're a noob. E.g. Karamja isle, noobs sell fire to people with uncooked fish.

Yeah, maybe they should give F2Pers something that can make their fire shoot some mini fireworks. (Not like the ones that shoot over our heads after leveling... something more dramatic.)

In p2p, firemaking levels allow one to light things, while in f2p it it no more than skill totals. I would have to say that it is the most under developed skill.

If you didn't have any fires, then you gotta take the boat back to cook your lobbies. And that would be annoying if your killing lessers. So to me f2p firemaking is not useless :P
