Here are some pretty handy tips for herblore:

 

 

 

-If you've started or completed Elemental Workshop, you could kill water elementals, they have a 100% drop of a vial of water. They also drop herbs fairly often.

 

-Buy Herbs

 

-Also try the trick after Edgars Ruse to get herbs.

 

-Why buy or collect herbs like that? Farming is a GREAT way to get a lot of herbs!

 

-There are many secondary ingredient droppers, like hill giants, hobgoblins, cave bugs and chaos druids.

 

-If you want a challenge, kill monsters that don't drop herbs or secondary ingredients very often to gain CB xp in the process.

 

-Read the Tip.It herblore guide.

 

-The Tears of Guthix mini-game is another great way.

Zogre Flesh Eaters- 2k xp (8 Herblore needed)

 

Shades of Mort'ton- 2k xp (15 herbole needed)

 

Digsite- 2k xp (10 Herblore Needed.)

 

Fairy Tale part II- 3500-6000 (If you use the lamp, 57 herblore needed)

 

Legands Quest- 7.65k to 30.6k xp (If you put more xp on herblore, 45 Herbole needed)

 

One Small Favor- 10k-20k xp (If you use the lamp, 18 herblore needed)

 

Edgars Ruse- 11k xp (31 herblore needed.)

 

Recipe for Disaster 20k xp (If you use the Lamp with over 50 herblore, 15 herblore needed to do the quest.)

 

 

 

Once of the easiest things to do are do Drudic Ritual, then Jungle Potion, then recruitment drive, and then Zogre Flash eaters. That will give the most amount of xp for a new herbolist.

Heroes is bad, Legends is worse but try Fairy Tale II. Herblore lvl 57 needed!!! Ah man, long long way to go.... :(

Does anyone actually know how good the herbs from the Edgars Ruse maze are? Once you have the method down it's no problem but for those of us who don't or have forgotten it(me) it would be a pain in the buttocks to go down there and get Gout Weed only to receive a single Guam Leaf in return.

You dont need 57 Herblore tell the end, and you can keep using the fairy rings even before you complete

Well the sequel to the new fairy quest gives access to an area that grows starflowers...so just put a bunch of those in some vials, then go to the next realm and fight those 149's that drop some claws...grind up those claws and throw them in the potions. Badda-bing-badda-boom free 130 xp per potion.

Just buy herbs. You can get irits for what 1-1.5k ea? newts are like 200 ea if u buy from players and wf vials buy at ardy for 12gp.. Total cost is max 1712gp and super attacks can be sold for 1.5k ea @ edge bank. I used this to get 45-55 in 1 day.

 

 

 

Requires a good outlay though..
